I suspect the lateral flow test ( pregnancy test style) that’s the imminent alternative, eg from Avacta will have a bearing here. Also ease of use lower price of LFT and lesser associated error from saliva will have an impact on market.

RK, Very much admire your expectation here. Personally I’d see a buyout as per Myles prediction ,coming along at speed if all’s successful, due to the high level of competition for biotech . The ‘potentials’ will likely be looking hard now.
The most interesting development would be a managed competition.& Would ‘nt be surprised if this comes about in 2020.
As you suggest would be expected to see x 15 +/- 5 . Pharms valuations can and are extraordinary with this potential and current background in particular .

RK et al , There are probably 12/15 large Pharma potential purchasers . The closest to the action have been mentioned& they will no doubt already watching.
Current world market conditions will slow some down, others could well be aggressively seeking to take this on soon.
My guess this year for certain rather than early next, subject to process success. The partner which is being sought for Covid treatment à’la last RNS will have first call I suspect.

First hand experience...test took days. Result was needs retest. A difficult test to get a decent sample for...throat rear and top of nose!
Saliva better!

Just had test result as ‘ unclear’ please repeat. Enquiry reveals this is due to difficulty in swabbing ( throat rear and top internal of nose ). It seems that this is a difficult technique at a practical level .
Avacta future simpler saliva test much needed!,

And ‘seeking’ is likely to mean heads are up already.
What a turn up!
