Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Will,
Yes nice rise over there today... well done. Better than the other Weald Player!!!! Having the same issue with a certain gold explorer: whenever the SP crosses the 2p threshold, I am minded to sell a percentage as it "always" drops back... but one of these days!!!! Just never know?
Re-rate on the cards here for sure. The other day when the MM's took the brake pedal off... we caught a glimpse of what can happen and how quickly!
Onward and upward
YL :-)
Certainly looking "suspiciously" manipulated Will... I guess patience needed as always
YL ;-)
MM's will have their sell orders in from RiverFort YA... who will continue selling into any rise here. Sadly, they still have a lot of shares to dump... and once they're finished... you can bet your bottom dollar Anguish will need another placing to keep the lights on until back end of this year - when we get to "finally" learn if either £1 land or Balcombe are going to be profitable for us?
Ocelot,
I would happily counter "unnecessary or exaggerated" negativity myself. Just as I am keen to counter "unnecessary or exaggerated" positivity too.
The problem in achieving harmony between the two is that our illustrious BOD have spent the last year destroying the vast majority of share value - along with any remaining shreds of credibility & trust we could possibly have had in them.
Well HUR went down when the price of oil rose... wonder what will happen now the price is dropping back?
Welcome to the lunatic asylum... otherwise abbreviated as A.I.M!
Ocelot,
You do seem to fit "happily" into the role of Anguish Energy PR Spokesperson, what with your continual optimism in the face of what can only "fairly" be described as utter and complete incompetence by the BOD.
Are you 100% sure you are not employed by either Anguish, Rupert, or RiverFort YA? (these seem the most likely candidates to want to counter any negativity and to paint a rosier picture.)
Thank you for reminding me. Although, I'm hardly likely to forget it, Ocelot.
YL :-(
6.25% spread and sell is still 0.80 on HL. RiverFort will bring them (down) back into line again, Ocelot... don't worry ;-)
Ja51,
You only have to look at FRR (same story - low liquidity - funding issues - excuse) to see which way this company is headed:
Inevitably into Private Hands - at the expense of PI's IMHO!
Experienced AIM investors have created a special phrase for companies like Anguish Energy:
They "aptly" refer to them as LIFESTYLE COMPANIES... (they are there solely to pay director salaries - for as long as humanly possible - whilst proof of concept continually gets kicked over the far horizon.
But don't worry, because that good news RNS is always coming... next week... next month... next year... just NOT in yours or my lifetime.
YL ;-)
Hi Will.
Congrats. Done the same myself. Never quite hit the highs or lows... but certainly allowed me to build a much larger stake to carry longer term here.
Convince that the real returns will come - in time - when this fully recovers... but will continue trading a percentage in the meantime.
GL :-)
Added more myself...
Current valuation makes no Earthly sense - as usual for AIM!
Go to re-rate eventually. A "No Brainer" BUY at these levels IMHO.
GL A :-)
Unlike you, Ocelot,
I have earned my right to be sceptical... having been invested here for a VERY long time. Heard all the excuses: how many "sweet spots" we have, how much oil (now gas) we are going to be selling on for profit... yadee, yadee, yadee!
I never professed to be a patient investor... just a realistic one. And - sadly - after so may disasters, delays and dilutions... I have zero faith Anguish will do anything here for private investors.
Time here is like a psychology experiment... always fascinated to hear from Anguish Cheerleaders as to why new investors should pour their hard earned money into this tin-pot outfit... and if any are gullible enough to fall for the same tired old promises YET AGAIN.
Anyone unfamiliar... just replace any of their old promises which include the word OIL with the "new word" GAS.
You'll catch the drift!
YL ;-)
I guess those that haven't been trapped by false promises - only to witness 2019's catastrophic SP damage under Lucan-Tidswell - have indeed gone elsewhere Ocelot... and good luck to them ;-)
The rest of us will just have to tolerate giving these imbeciles YET ANOTHER chance to prove they are capable of doing anything other than destroying shareholder value...
I won't hold my breath! :-(
I agree Steptoe, Sadly,
Lucan clearly favours £1 Land gas field over Balcombe.
In lieu of planning issues, errors in submission and the likelihood of further planning and operational delays... I cannot see how anything will happen on site to prove commerciality one way or the other before Q4 2020.
Saltfleetby £1 Land may / may not prove commercial... but it involves some serious regulatory hurdles and a lot of operational reconnection groundwork - which again is NOT going to happen overnight. In reality we are looking Q4 2020 for connection and proving up of "theory" here too.
So the question is:
What are we going to live on in the meantime... and how are impatient investors going to fare having to wait almost a year for anything to happen whilst Lucan, Tidswell & chums are still paying their generous salaries through further placings?
If I sound frustrated... it's only because here in The North:
We sack failure - we certainly don't celebrate it!
"that's good for us"
Of course Maddog... what a great incentive for new investors:
Buy in at a premium and watch the SP drop back "instantly" as RiverFort YA sells out....
LOL!
... and as if by magic... and just before close... another RiverFort YA dump-athon to squash any "premature" SP enthusiasm
Well at least we have a "first stage" timeline. Still got a loooooooooooooong wait ahead of us before...
...Tidswell puts in his thumb and pulls out - yet another - lemon!
YL ;-)
I guess they may also have actioned this now - so as to clear any Woodford Fund overhang still remaining?
They will be better informed than the rest of us - when would be the best time to buy that's for sure!
There have been some large block buys today (£200,000- £400,000 each)... which I strongly believe might be attributed to BUR. They will notify in due course obviously.
