The tone of the email (if it's genuine) seemed assuringly upbeat and fair play to him for at least attempting to compose/placate his employees . It doesn't happen in every company. Case in point being PFC. Their communication has been woeful.

That's an encouraging response from the CEO. Hopefully they'll release something official for the markets as well soon.

By much smaller amounts than previous days. Let's hope they've had their fill.

If the review ends up being even somewhat favourable to WG then the rating will shoot back up again. I wouldn't place too much emphasis on price targets.

Required here. We're certainly not going to get back to the £1.20s in the next week or probably even next few months however anyone buying at these prices will be pleased they did so in the relatively short term. Today was tough but we could easily make up all the losses tomorrow.

There was bound to be a retrace at some point. I'm sure we'll see a bounce back in the next few days.

Wondering if Franklin sold the remainder of their shares. I suppose we'll find out soon.

Yes, especially if the reports that the UK will get favourable treatment regarding tariffs is to be believed.

Lots of conjecture about what's going on but the truth is that's all it is - conjecture. I have a family member who is a very senior manager at WG and even he was blindsided with respect to the Deloitte review and isn't privy to any kind of board level information. I do believe the sell off last week was overdone but until I get more information about what's going on I'm staying out. A 60% intraday drop isn't something a wise investor should ignore.

This is exactly what stopped me from buying in last week. Still hoping to buy a chunk but not until a little more information is provided.

Let's hope that's not a bad omen. Shorters were spot on for Petrofac and look what happened to their share price.

Sadly, as Petrofac investors will tell you 5 months is a long time in business. Hopefully the audit will be completed within a reasonable timescale and nothing serious will be discovered. Until then there will be uncertainty and markets hate uncertainty.

The word on the inside is that they are losing money on projects that they were forecast to be profitable on. Good luck to LTHs. I hope it recovers. I'm knee deep in PFC so I know how it feels to have your investment waste away.
