Some do not have a high opinion of Andrew Winkler that is quite clear but whatever a few posters on here think the market still see STOB as having more upside and that is what counts for shareholders or prospective new shareholders. In my view one or two posters on here in particular just could not see the wood for the trees, not the quality required to make a good investor.
The SP performance over the last 4 months has been very good and anyone ignoring the foolish comments by those posters with a clear grudge against the company or with a hidden motive have been well rewarded buying into a solid well run company with a lot more shareholder value to come. Well done to those who ignored them and bought.
However would LSE members manage if you had not learnt how to copy and paste ! I suppose we could just click on the flashing red dot :-)
Looking quite strong today again 70's was way oversold as I commented at the time, it was clearly a gift Clogheen :-) STOB has a lot of value in all its assets.

We know from the RNS on 11th July that trading in the first half of the year is in line with management's expectations which should be confirmed very soon when the interims are released......so no big surprises coming there then. So providing the second half of the year follows that which we should get some hint of at the time of the interims I would expect. Then we should be looking at a EPS of something like 3.7p taken from Hardman's report. So based on that we should still have a fair upside from here......in my opinion north of 40p. Then of course we should keep in mind : "Alliance continues to explore a number of acquisition opportunities and remains confident of the outlook for the full year." Whether the BOD will have anything for us on that front at the interims remains to be seen.
Its good to see the rise continue with STOB further discrediting those who were "knocking" the company with unwarranted and in some cases fabricated comments about the company and its directors. 100p firmly under the belt and now pushing on through 110p.
Yes Bissmire they were clearly so oversold for all the company have going for them and anyone who bought in around May will have done nicely in capital growth with a decent divi thrown in. For reasons unclear but NOT based on the fundamentals or any other fact there have been a number of posters who have been running down the company and directors......one has to form ones own conclusions why that might be but as I say it is not based on fact
There is no need to be rude sain@vision just because I was right and you were clearly wrong and were posting rubbish..........and still are it would appear....... We live and learn sain@vision have you ?
I see two of you at least sain@vision and mrdawessnr are still talking rubbish Well done to all those that ignored those with some weird agenda or vendetta against STOB's directors and bought back in May
I commented back on 16th May that STOB were heading back to 100p and now they are over 100p I'm sure those who doubted my and were making foolish negative comments about STOB and I see some still are will try and talk more rubbish but it has been a pretty good gain for those that bought at that time. So for those that have forgotten.....those talking rubbish : Truthfactory MrDawsonSnr Sain@vision NOW 103p WELL DONE STOB BOD you are doing a GOOD JOB
Yes it is not taking many buys to edge the SP up slowly a bit each day. News would move the SP on somewhat quicker I would think......providing it is good news of course. We will see if more buys follow fairly decent a couple 50ks
Seems you WERE wide of the mark ? Looks to me as if STOB are heading back to over 100p very soon MrDawesSnr 3rd May Very interesting reading some of these comments. To hear Yorgi describe Stob as heading towards £1.00 yet say he/she holds no shares sounds very strange? I agree with others that it sounds like a 'talk it up' game. This in itself points to an underlying lack of confidence at the top - otherwise you just have to sit pretty and stick your tongue out at doubters knowing your results will silence critics. The performance of these shares is chronic on the 15 month period and if the price rise points to city approval then I'm a Tulip Seller from Rotterdam. The price rise is speculation that Stob shares have bottomed, but it's no more than that. Of course, the gamblers might be right; but I suspect there's shirts still to be lost . Don't put in more than you are willing to lose.
Truthfactory it always look less appetising than it is once eaten :-) I would add that I'm quite most of us should sample it at some stage. I still don't hold STOB but am pleased to see the good results as I see good businesses flourishing is good for us all looking at the bigger picture. I may buy a few if I can find the cash somewhere :-)
Yes Bonga they are and I agree SP back over 100p today ! Well Truthfactory it would seem you were talking a load of tosh as I suspected.
Just wonder why you don't post on their BB's then and why you spend your time posting on BB's on companies you rate badly. Seems a very odd way to spend your time.....even slightly sad. Maybe you thrive on doom and gloom :-)
Somehow I doubt we will see 12% rise in profits MrDawesSnr. As you rightly say apart from the historic numbers it will be how they are preforming now and guidance looking forward which will be the crucial driver in my view. I'm more upbeat than others on the Stobart Air side of the business but all will soon be revealed.
