Healthcare and technology are 2 of the sectors they’re interested in according to the FT.

Maybe the tide will turn in terms of journalist sentiment too…after all, there will be a lot of them grateful to THG for paying the wage bill, while negotiations were ongoing…..and no doubt some of them work for other publications too. Better not to bite the hand that feeds you and all that….

One thing that I think we can take for granted, after Matts recent LinkedIn posts…is that whoever is backing him going forward, is not involved in short selling …

The position you hold and what you believe the future will be, will dictate the response from the shorters I expect. After all, if Matt is about to take this private, I wouldn’t want to ‘poke the Matt Moulding bear’ either, because once he’s off the LSE, he will no doubt take great joy in calling out other short positions….with no worries about consequences for the share price of THG.

This is bold stuff. Feels like the end game is in sight to me.

Looks to me like he’s whipping up a storm before the news that he’s taking THG private….and he intends to make some “noise”, because others are delisting in silence, because no one’s listening.

I am convinced that Matt will not leave the UK to list elsewhere…he is too passionate about it. His LinkedIn profile title even says “building a global giant from the UK”.
