There is something for everyone in a deal of this nature. An agreement in principle protecting Sound until all 3 drills are completed? On a success or failure case on just TE9 would cause such turbulence and both scenarios might invite unwelcome early bids, surely OGIF having come this far, way longer than Sound Energy in this exploration journey and will want to see it to full value.

So assume we drill but protected to completion by an agreement ahead of time?

It would be typically organised & deal/value savvy if JP risk hedged & had a deal in place pre 9/10/11 drills with an agreement calibrated on value/proven scales incorporating GSA. It could be exclusive & carry a premium?
I would never ever want to be on the other side of the table from that dude trying to make a deal but am very glad he is working it on our behalf.

Answering a question after one of the presentations WH1 spud to TD was indicated at ~25 days (1850m), with similar Geology you'd expect SL to be drilled at a similar rate?~75mpd.

There will be a large amount of hedging Keith from Industry that can dampen some aspects of the higher price, but as the industry always says....the cure for high prices is high prices and the cure for low prices is low prices.

When the questions are put to DW, can we please try to be explicit and ask each question in isolation?
Often excellent pertinent questions are asked but can be bundled up with several other well made points and looser queries and Management can either intentionally or unintentionally ignore the key point whilst answering some other aspect.

I'm not necessarily targeting DW for avoidance here, if he can't answer a certain question he can defer for good reason & we all respect what he needs to keep close to his chest....but what we don't want is any deramping ability in any following quiet period based on any ambiguity in the responses post the Q&A.

I'm invested here for exploration risk/reward not production. I made a comment earlier that I came for the unconventional but staying for the conventional... Testament to DW sharp skills bringing in YK and Horseshoe to help tip the balance of chances of all the plays. Invest in smart people.
