If SLB farmin to Sidi they can no longer leverage the seismic and processing piece into the bargain without outsourcing it now to Shearwater since they sold that part of their SLB business (the Geco data acquisition and processing piece) to Shearwater.

Jack, in an exchange with a pretty big cheese in O&G I'd asked for an opinion on SLB becoming a full production company? To do so puts them fundamentally in competition with their customer base. The response I got was...

...SLB has had a small group evaluating & making investments in E&P for yrs &. e.g., took position in Eagle Ford 5 yrs ago. It's not a good fit for service cos but they always think it is. No, they won't become a full E&P. Kibsgaard is too smart & probably only tolerates it.

Not for me. Norwich, Brian says if strat works at te10 then you can’t walk away from a revisit of te2.

IMO stimulated flow typically has a higner/quicker production decline rate, good rates pre stim would go along way to a broader higber basin commercial value.

IMO Sound only finally confirmed the 11 location in the last RNS after 10 gas shows. They then would have to get jv consensus and also permitting. It isnt as if they can drill wherever they like when they like.

The Company then intends, once the stimulation equipment has arrived, to mechanically stimulate the most prospective reservoir zones in a series of production flow tests. The stimulated test is expected to take at least 30 days from commencement.

My take would be that TE5 commercials independently carry its own Feed/BOT etc. 12/20" Pipe. The RNS this morning implies to me that if the 3 way dip flows at >= 2MMscft/d then it is commercial back tying it to TE5 pipe connection to Magreb etc, whereas if the Strat &/or Paleo @ TE10 is in play 1.5~5TCF+ then it would warrant a rethink of infrastructure and perhaps build out in parallel or even usurp the TE5 commercials in the near/mid term.

It is a crazy world folks.

Using JPs idiom of hitting it out of the park on TE6/7... I guess the current state of play as far as Morocco goes is TE8, Strike 1. TE9, Strike 2. TE10, it's been pitched & has been hit and we are currently watching in super slow-mo where the ball is going but the cameraman is as yet unable to pick up the balls trajectory.

Here is is obviously stating the penciled TE11 location is independent of TE10 but that developments from TE10 outcome could alter the program.

My permeability note was in response to Kasjnaton point d).
My opinion is that the company are not hiding information on this permeability detail - I contend that we are at just an early phase in an as yet untested well.

In early analysis porosity appears to be easier to measure than permeability with cuttings etc and perm is really only confidently known with flow test and analogous wells. imo.
