i'd like to hear from Simon Davies what he thinks he can contribute as the wheels fell off whilst he has been away, although not as much as I would now from Stephen Whyte. Whilst always supporting Sound I did post last summer the comments made to me at an investor evening from an AIM CEO who knew SW & JP and is an O&G AIM CEO and has been CEO of a $2B company previously also. This CEO said always sell on seismic (proved right) and that Stephen left in Jan 2018 because the hype and spin was out of whack. At the time I dismissed it for jealousy...jury is still out pending the final chapter[s].

they will need to flow it, get a steady flow and then under control over a period of time assess the flow against tubing pressures below and above ground, and pressure build up tests to try and define early low/mid/high cases of any flowing sections of what is a long gross interval.

What I was saying is the company hasn't been able to state that gas from the lower formation has flowed to surface unstimualted from that depth, not that there isn't gas there.

Overall positive progress but IMO this is far from a slam dunk of an RNS.

The company does not say that it found moveable gas lower than the spill i.e. the strat.
The company states that to seek commercial flow rates they will stimulate, so we likely can conclude the unstimulated isn't close to 1.5/2mmscf/d (not that it was going to be but te6 vertical unstim was 1.36mmscf/d from 5meters) so not on the same level as 6 (although Brian had indicated that already at the BB)
Hopefully the nuance is in the thinly bedded piece and that stimulation of the thin bedded pay zone will have a bigger multiplication from unstim to stim in 10 than it did in 6. Still all to play for but why IMO we haven't seen 25p+.

We are still in discussions with other select parties regarding SM about potential farmin but I have to say Sidi is looking to be, based about what we know about te10, a relatively small piece of the portfolio right now.

They must know 10 will prove up the basin/asset/seismic and are doing the deal.
Personally I'm hoping we get an offer that includes contingency payments, it is likely the only way to get full value for large parts of 2017, 2018 & 2019 pain...we've done the hard part now time to ride the wave of successful exploration on a buyers $ and get paid on success.

Pure speculation here but wondering if the new data from TE10 means revising the whole model. If the 'funny story about TE10' was something along the lines of 'it isn't what we were looking for but appears to be as good as the original model and we lucked out'....It would mean a reworking of the completion/tools/design & hence the lack of prep but also a reworking of seismic perhaps to isolate similar structures.
Just trying to put a positive spin on the perceived delay.

The Company has recognised the presence of a fracture network in both the FMI data and side wall cores. The potential for a positive impact of this fracture network on the net pay calculation was not included in the scope of the petrophysical analysis undertaken by ERCE but will be considered once the well has been tested.
