I was notified last week that the cost of my Gas & electric is to double. The gas price has gone up again since then so no doubt I will be getting another letter soon. However, its a swings and roundabouts thing as I will likely make the money back on my Oil & energy stocks...........except for HUR of course :(
I think it is just a little nudge to Bluewater to hint that they would walk away if a deal isn't agreed.
There was a late surge last night and its back over $74 again which is very good news.
Brent was briefly back over $72 overnight, but has fallen back to $71 which is a big improvement on recent days.
$77.50 this morning, that is quite a big jump.
I am really quite shocked at this Senseman. Surely the CA team would have known of its existence?
Hopefully this price will hold
Its over $75 again this morning.
$74.65 a few minutes ago whiich is a really decent climb in the last few days. Should drag all oil companies higher today.
The lucky guy, thx for this. I have been a BP investor for half of my life, and had not noticed that the BP Share price had broken its lockstep with Brent Crude since early 2020. As it doesn't seem to have ever fallen below Brent before, then there may be the opportunity for a reappraisal and a significant upwards price correction as you suggest. I am wondering though if BP's new strategy to change its future income streams and capital investments away from Hydrocarbons may also be a factor ? An announcement about a dividend increase would certainly help an early reappraisal.
More signs of recovery. Good news
Or they are leaving the announcement until after the market closes to avoid the financial media, many of whom will have gone to the pub on a nice Friday afternoon.....
Brent has just crept over $71.
Good to see that Brent has ticked up today. Just over $70
So what do folks make of todays RNS? Slightly more optimistic, given that RKH are also showing some signs of life?
Dire, ditto for a takeover. Any business thinking about a takeover given all the current known (and unknown) uncertainties would be reckless.
