For many, putting anything over 100, or 250 or X... is incredibly stupid. Gamble as big as you want, for me can't say it enough, the real stupidity is doing it in an ISA. :-)

Look around, many frustrated LTHs trapped in this , warning everyone of the "tricks". As if it's different for any other early stage nano-cap. High risks for high reward. But also high likelihood of loss for many

The obvious wisdom here is to buy high risk tickets in a trading account and not an ISA, retaining the option to harvest losses should be a higher priority than worry about paying CGT on a hypothetical big win. The declared losses can be offset against future wins in the years ahead, and this "tax credit" is valid forever; an under-appreciated but powerful tool when used well.

Just bloody sell and move on, we've all been stung and carry our fair share of 99.99% loss stories.

It comes with the territory, I don't get the high emotions unless you tried a shortcut and got ISA-trapped. ISAs, great when you win, but losses are very real. Brokerage account only for high ticket investments is the safe way, harvest losses for tax purposes and you never really lose. Yes the taxman gets something if you are incredibly successful and smh never claim a loss but hey, the country benefits!

@molatovkid, Yes the "punters " individually said no to every option in the FT250/500 or SP500, that's a thousand stocks with proven commercial propositions, possible dividends and safer accounting.

Basically, nobody is asking to be saved. Getting burned is annoying, I get it, but gotta move on mate.

:-) Yup. Watch the real frenzy when out of the blue this gets consolidated from Billions to millions of shares.

Welcome to AIM/OTC, you knew the risks, no crying here and no redemption to be found trying to save the next investors :-). They too know and WANT the risks. I mean we all said "No Ta" to S&P500 and FT250 to be here.

First and 2nd and often 3rd wave of investors usually get burned on such plays before a genuine take off, majority of them crash. There is no poetic justice in stocks...go quietly to find your next winner. Good Luck and wish us luck.
