So if Hainan is 51% Maj shhlder in KMUK, by what mechanism/provisions do they remain unaffected by the Mali Gov claiming an extra 10% . Only Kodal's share automatically shrinks...seems highly unlikely for most watchers.

Breaking down my buys over next few weeks but just got some. Have learnt over the years, you never know what news is around the corner & have kicked myself often for the "doomed &down here for a while" diagnosis :-).

Also extension of JUST 1 month could be just to be on the safe side. Bernard is too detail-focused and respectful to his shhlders to let a stated deadline be missed by a single day.
Chances are funding news may land a few days after original deadline if the process is near completion, 1 month seems like an admin psychological barrier , ie even if they felt strongly this was landing in 3 days they'd still likely warn on 1 month rather than 1 week.

Watch as people run back and forth over a fraction of a p for the next 2/3 weeks. Inevitably some will come to curse themselves for not loading blindly now!
When this really moves it'll be fast :-)!

Will be interesting to see how quickly India leads the way in crafting an Uber-protectionist fence around those strategic reserves, and if/how LATAM Lithium giants get “inspired” by their approach! :-)

Lith. is the future but the road to extraction is an arduous one, few PIs last the course, especially when commodity prices ebb&flow over time. Not to mention getting a mining license is no guarantee etc
This bodes well for the future but will need more concrete steps than a Letter of Intent to fully load, which is what today's update is.
Sit for the long ride or trade/exit quick, wouldn't sit in the middle at this stage in ultra high-risk mining and pharma nano caps.

Who drives EVs isn't relevant, when they made up 10% of global new cars sales in 2022 (3 yrs ahead of schedule)! Exponentials are a true marvel, & always a shock to our linear-thinking brains :-). In 3-4 years you could be looking well north of 60% (China alone is forecasted to hit 33% in 2023, a detail/reality most in the west are truly clueless about).
Is oil dead? Not by any stretch of the imagination but all the talk and long term promise of EVs are finally coming to reality, this will soon be the case for Hydrogen, and then and then.... Personally think death knell will ring when container ships, heavy industry and home heaters can run on hydro.
There was a lot of money to be made in the horse business long after the auto was invented :-), all depends on your investing horizon!

We are sleep walking into a newer, bigger lithium frenzy when the penny really drops. Load & patience.
Even the "10% EVs by 2025" predictions felt quite generous 3 years ago, just being honest. Now if exponentials are in play like this pattern suggests, then expect momentum to carry this number to hit 15-18% in 2023, maybe more!!

Load and stop trading is the answer :-)). Trading oil stocks in 1912 was the dumbest thing.. lithium is equally strategic and the same natural exponentials are coming in a systemic way, unless we discover 20 other Bolivias...and even then. Once snowballing starts it cant be beaten by back n forth flipping.
