Whenever he used a comma there was always a gap between the preceding word and the comma. Thus , Almost everybody I have ever encountered would, like myself, do it thus, immediately after the word. After a long stretch as "chief ramper" he disappeared from the scene, but soon thereafter his place was taken by someone new who would type commas thus , Funny coincidence that.

It might be helpful if the 'artificial noise' wasn't so persistent. Ten posts a day saying essentially the same thing over and over can do more harm than good, because it undermines credibility of the message. Just one or two posts might be sufficient. Because we don't want to discourage new investors who might be somewhat cynical, thinking to themselves "Yeah, yeah, yeah".

We're still here together, Helx2. My last saga before this one I gritted my teeth through no less than 10 years of stalls and setbacks and false dawns. The company went bust in the end, but it wasn't for lack of patience on the part of LTHs.

I did have a little bit of the same problem with Helx2 on Wednesday. Some of his stance is very valid. But, like some of the other uber-enthusiasts on here, he would appear to lack a bit of respect for why those of us who have so far lost about 99% of our investment here aren't ourselves over the moon with joy and ecstasy. In essence we are 'singing off the same hymn sheet' in our wish to see UFO succeed, but many of us are battle-weary, to mix a metaphor.

I hope you are right, OML. I sincerely hope you are right. But as I said this morning, many of us are so beaten down by this share now that we only ever expect the worst. It's rather hurtful when people say "I bet you're not even invested", when the truth of the matter is that our holding is still intact but our confidence isn't.

It's interesting, smiller, that in all the years of this UFO saga, I have only ever seen two people who have been unable to buy a single share. The more recent is OML, the other was our friend Max. No-one else ever seems to have encountered this problem.

We've BEEN supporting shreds of positive sentiment. Helx2. For months and years. And none of them have come to anything. We are driven into the ground. It is very hard to support anything any more.

I'm quite happy to cheer the positives, Helx2. But not when the same message seems to need to be repeated every half hour. And I do have a very big vested interest in UFO. I am down in six figures.

I don't either, petej247. But then MY brain was born in the late 40s. I'm sure it has many good uses. But I still get the magazine from my old professional institute, and I am quite horrified by the way in which young members tumble over themselves to praise AI like it's the Second Coming of Christ. Yes, it can remove drudgery, but it would seem they'd also like it to remove their own personality and insight.

If someone declared "Something is rotten in the state of Uzbekistan", I'd think "Crikey, he writes exactly like that Shakespeare bloke. I wonder if it could really be Shakespeare?"
