Norm, your comment about a "mundane job" is interesting. I have very often wondered what lifestyle people on here have, other than their UFO personae. How they have the TIME to write all day and every day. As I have mentioned before, I am retired, and yet I certainly don't have that time. Three comments from me today in the space of half-an-hour is exceptional. I am going to have to go away now and get on with some "real stuff".
It would be good, wouldn't it, Loggy? In my years on AIM I've only experienced a couple of times boards on which there has been objective discussion amongst the members. The first-ever board I got involved with had a sensation of camaraderie, the like of which I have never seen again. Different members went away and did the research that was most relevant to their own skills, and reported back to the others. It was exactly like any work-team. Extraordinary. And unique.
I'm beginning to think that UFO isn't in the business of iron ore. Or of silver either. It exists as a job creation programme for "influencers". The same folk on here who argued their way through 24 hours of yesterday (and most days before that) are set fair to be doing it all again today.
Unlike many, I am not in the business of Max-bashing. But sometimes his enthusiasm does run away with him. As soon as I saw it at close of play yesterday, I thought, Max, pal, you are setting up a huge hostage to fortune with a statement like "Watch SP tomorrow and you will see ;)". Better to avoid declarations like that, perhaps, in order to retain credibility.
Calm down, everyone.
I've used a different analogy to make this same point in the past, when people were getting excited about iron ore.
Here's another one. There's no point getting orgasmic about the record prices that 'Old Masters' are fetching, if you yourselves haven't even signed a lease to set up an auction house.
Have a good bank holiday weekend all. There's something for everyone this weekend.
For the doomsters and gloomsters, the opportunity to say 'Q1 has come to an end, So what happened to this golden news flow we were promised?'
For those of a more bright and breezy frame of mind, the fact that it's not just the end of Q1, but also Easter! So maybe this is an omen? Maybe UFO will rise again. Like Jesus.

I think, 5x5 and cj, that many of us would split the difference - which is 1.55 - and take that after the battering we've had for three-and-a-half years now. On the other hand, if it can claw to 1.55, then it could possibly go further.
Leweyman, a heartwarming thing about the response to your announcement has been the evidence of a fundamental humanity and decency amongst people on this board, who have sent you their sincere and profound good wishes, as do I.
I've said it before, I am a late riser. So, when I do eventually come on here and see the red flag for an RNS, before I scroll down further I'll say to myself, "Well, this'll be Red then". UFO is nothing if not consistent.
Just to follow on from my earlier post, I thought I'd just look to see what the other party to the NTA was saying (not that UFO would have dared to issue a blatant lie in the RNS), and KNAC uses the same definitive language - "consented" and "decisions":
