What’s next on the news flow?

Mbe and Bibemi have been published now, so what’s next?

Senegal (been promised for a year at least)

Wapouze (been promised for over a year!)

Turkish Royalty sale (been promised for a decade 😂)

I can’t see what else is likely, it’s very much unlikely that they’ll be doing any more deals or getting any more ground. They haven’t even explored the ground they already have.

Any ideas anyone?

Beardozer, I get the sentiment but I think the salary may be questioned 🤣

There certainly needs to be some change, the value is being squandered as we sit around and wait for things to happen.

Any news on Senegal before year end?

Bibemi doesn’t seem to have given anything, other than a small increase based on a re-priced cutoff grade.

Gosh knows what’s happening on the other exploration ground, radio silence all year…

There was drilling (and Cameroons first MRE) at Bibemi, but no drilling at that stage in Mbe.

Not sure what their plan would be - clearly any increase in value comes back to BCM too, they put in $9.5m for the two licences, so they will not be interested in doing anything unless they see at least a return in that!

More likely, perhaps, is the push to advanced stage or even self build. BCM are a very large mining contracting group, it would not be beyond their capabilities to build and operate a mine.

In which case ORR would have to either co-fund, be diluted or sell its position.

But is it a leased plane?

I was pleasantly surprised by the MRE at Mbe, but I was massively disappointed by the pitiful PR campaign associated with its release.

It isn’t like they have had time to prepare.

They got the licence in 2019 or 2020 I think, and results from the various campaigns before they even started drilling gave indication it was a new district, or at least had the potential to become one (one thing Livesey was right about, it seems).

So with very slow and steady drill campaign, with only one rig, the management should have had ample time to put a very comprehensive programme of PR / investor engagement together.

And I’m sorry, but it’s hard to get behind the new CEO, there is a distinct lack of charisma.

my question would be, do we have commercially qualified british airways pilots up front in the ****pit, or just someone with a private pilots licence and a few hours training.

the next steps (setting the flaps and managing the power for take off) needs some technical skills.

is this why the market is being cautious?

is it a communication issue with the tower?

It is clear that the market either doesn’t like the assets/location and the assigned risk profile,

Or?

They don’t like (or perhaps don’t trust?) the management.

Was there any communication other than the RNS, or do we expect an in depth video explainer to come tomorrow, to get the markets excited again?

One does wonder what the publicity team are doing.

Seems like the market doesn’t like something.

The numbers, jurisdiction or team. Something isn’t going down well.

Some nice support at the lower end of the cutoff curve, which is good to see.

Recoveries and ownership will dilute ORR’s position, but despite this it’s got to add some value to the sp I’d think.

Today will be an interesting day of trading.

Will they be posting the JORC report anywhere?

Buy those - Also, Kefi has:

A Resource of 1.7 Moz at a grade of 2.65g/t.

Reserves in excess of 1 Mozs.

A Feasibility Study.

Finance in place.

A construction schedule.

Active exploration in other areas.

In other words, Kefi is miles ahead of ORR in discovery and development.

Newsflow would be good about now, one would presume there is continued work on the other licences, other deals etc, not just waiting on the Mbe MRE and the hopes that it will bring stellar uplift in the sp?

GG, I think you need to take one of your tablets. And perhaps try to read a little deeper in the mechanics of development of mineral resources and how they translate into mine development (and the impact on share price through that transition). I feel you have a lot to learn.

In the meantime, what news from Board and Management?

Let’s see what the MRE brings, and then you can comment based on facts rather than hype?

The ORR team has been pushing hard the fact that this will be a useful MRE, a game changer, so to speak.

I’m simply putting out that after all this hype and non delivery of news, the MRE had better exceed expectations, otherwise the investors (and the markets) will not be kind.

And it’s clear some on here know nothing about the mechanics of the mining sector.

Blind optimism does not deliver a resource.

Regarding Mbe mineralisation; do you understand the difference between mineralisation and economic mineralisation?

The promises around an Mbe JORC resource/MRE, the expectations being raised and the assumptions being made are of concern to some.

Unless the numbers come back with a real blow your socks off high grade and high tonnage number, the sp is just going to tank.

The CEO is absent totally, it’s unimaginable that he’s so busy that he cannot keep the investors updated on progress.

By that measure, ORR is a tin of aldi sardines.

If their approach is so smart, why is the sp not moving?

Its been stagnant for years.

They have no idea what they’re doing.

ORR are already a proven gold explorer - they developed Cameroon's first ever JORC MRE at Bibemi a few years ago.

What they have not done is capitalise on that success, and the success of discovery at the central licences/Mbe.
