Morning BV, some equipment vendors do shutdown and others don’t, but I expect most will be shutdown for the period between Christmas and New Year. Reopen on the 5th.

SelfishMcNimby, is not about seeing the negative side, not every EOG investor is an oiler or knows who Baker Hughs is or how these projects work. To the average investor (especially on AIM) the question of financing is always a worry.

Is not about seeing the negative side, is about wanting the company to put a few more words in the RNS to clarify this issue. Cash position and cost of new projects is what determines the need for a placing, is what scares investors.

To put it simply, better PR, be in tune with the markets.

BV, the existing site preparations maybe adequate, but we don’t know that until the EA gives their approval. Not my field here, but the EA could probably ask for something additional as the gas processing is being expanded. The power generators are not in the process area.

We will get an idea as to how confident Angus are about the adequacy of the existing site preparations if they go ahead with the Civil Works. As I posted below, early Jan we are receiving the Condensate storage tank - lets see if that gets installed on its permanent position; this will indicate that Angus are confident.

I would not worry about the 3-phase separator since this is the existing one upgraded and re certified and I suppose will be installed in its old position. However, compressors, dehydration package, Dewpoint package and condensate stabiliser package are new.

I would not worry about HSE sing off, it will cause no issues.

Now, the next item we are expecting is in early January “Condensate and water storage tanks”. I will be very interested to see if Angus has a foundation ready and goes ahead and installs the condensate tank.

Afternoon BV, I actually replied to you but the post disappeared as I hit the post message button - annoying.

The pictures today show offsite work on the pipeline. This work started last year but for some reason was not completed. The pipeline connection is at Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal (TGT) and connects the new pipeline from SFB to TGT to the existing pipeline from TGT to the National Gad Grid (NGG). I assume that the existing pipeline from TGT to NGG is isolated at the NGG end and the isolation will be opened later under NGG approval/supervision.

Now, looks like we are ready to flow gas to the NGG as soon as the new gas plant is installed at SFB, commissioned and signed off.

All this work that we see is on the fringes,EA approval for the gas plant remains key I am afraid.

BV, that is where I went wrong, got in big at Brockham stage, prior to that my losses where manageable. Now it will take a ton of money to bring my average significantly lower.

Howey, the EA approval is not required to be in place until hot commissioning. Works carried now at site are outside of the process areas and therefore extremely unlikely to be unaffected by any preconditions imposed by EA approval. The main part of the gas plant though is the processing equipment - no civil works in relation to this have started yet. This is where any groundwork preconditions may be imposed by the EA. I suspect Angus is holding back on these until approval (prudent thing to do) - we should soon find out as i have got two IQ’s on the Angus website.

So, yes timely EA approval is make or break. I just hope Angus is on top of this, pushing the EA.

I take it that is £60k, 60k pounds at 0.82p. Starting from Lidsey though (SP 20p/30p+) is quite an achievement bringing the average down to 0.82p - congratulations.

BV, you missed the last sentence in Howey’s post - “or at least they are ready to more when/if it arrives!”, yes is a level headed post.

However, sometimes, if you think that you have no other choice you do jump in to the sea and hope that you will not drown.

The EA approval remains the key.

Correction, good afternoon BV. You still have not answered my question which wasn’t about knowing about the past but have you been a shareholder since Lidsey time?

EchDelta, I have no doubt about the value of the gas asset to Angus … but that is on the provision that the gas can be extracted prior to the hedge kicking in. Otherwise, the gas asset will be a lot more valuable to the £12 mil funders as Angus goes bust trying to fulfil the hedge obligations (I assume this is the case from what I heart, maybe post a question to Angus to find out if this is the case in their hedge contract?).

And again, raising money for another jam tomorrow project is bad for shareholders.
