James,. Is a puzzle. What do we know?

I can see the benefit with call and put options, but not with CFD’s.

In this case both the long and short are at 0.80p, spread doesn’t come in to it.

So, I am confused as to I why Maybank Securities did so - 12.5 mil long at 0.8p & 12.5 mil short also at 0.8p. Since both long & short are opened at the same SP, it follows that both will be closed at the same price.

James, I done a quick calculation for the straddle - no matter which direction the SP moves, excluding charges, the net gain is zero. If you include the charges then you are actually loosing the charges.

So, unless I am missing something, I don’t see how it will work.

James, how don you expect this straddle to work?

Read it again - are they keeping both long and short positions? If so, why?

Are these people for real? Is crazy to import when you have your own. Import is lose-loose for the environment and our pockets. Maybe we do need the Russians to turn off the tap.

Late trade of 12.5 mil shares ay 0.80p shown on IG. This is ~1% so we should see at least another Form 8.3 filed soon.

Unexpected SP decline, doesn’t make sense. I see this as a top up opportunity, if it drops to below 1.5p again I will be adding.

James, you are 100% correct. If they are competent, they will know now when deliveries will occur - how many moons ago were these orders supposed to have been placed?

They should know - and by the way, where is the promised week-by-week schedule leading up to first gas?

The pipeline to the National Gas Grid is more or less 100% complete and pressure tested.

The pipeline from SFB to TGT is new and from TGT to NGG is existing. The last bit at the NGG end will be connected under NGG supervision.

What is holding us back is the installation and commissioning of the Gas Plant at SFB - and this is the major part - this is it, without it there is nothing and so far not a single item has been installed.

Promised deliveries keep slipping.

In my opinion, from where we are now, if Angus gets a timely PP & WA approval - and there are no more slippages in delivery - and Angus has a competent Project Management Team in charge - we can see first gas in May/June.

Hope for no more slippages in delivery, timely PP & EA approvals, a competent PMT in charge … and no more placings between now and first gas. Amen.

Angus SP has been at or below 1p for well over two years now. Every time the SP pops itself above 1p … here comes a placing.

Shell Energy is a UK energy supplier just like British Gas.

If you happen to be receiving your energy from Shell Energy and you add solar panels to your roof and a windmill in your garden and you happen to be producing more energy than you need you will then be exporting energy to the grid and Shell Energy is buying that from you.

Would Shell Energy be interested to buy your house from you if you put the house up for sale just because they happen to be buying your excess energy?

Shell sold their share of the Corrib gas field and gas plant in Ireland for just over 1 billion euros in 2017 and that was producing circa 60 MMSCFD.. Do you really see them getting involved in buying a rundown field that may or may not produce 5-10 MMSCFD and put up with the UK regs?

Mirasol, I wish I could sit on my cash and watch but unfortunately my cash is already tight up in this joke of a company since well before Brockham.

The Angus SP has come down from over 35p and has been sitting at circa 1p for well over 2 years now. Angus has become a traders stock for short trades between current price and circa 1p. I have now lost all hope in ever recovering my money as I now believe there are more placings to come before 1st gas, if it ever gets there.

Disgraceful that the SP is now sitting at 0.75p.

First gas soon … 6 companies are interested in buying all or part of Angus … gas prices sky high …

A bid at 1.40p already rejected … and the SP is sitting at 0.75p !!!!

And yes, a 20% discount is too steep so close to “1st gas” … and 6 companies interested to buy part/whole Angus. Under these circumstances we should have had a premium.

Also. At the start of last week the SP, having been at 1.15p/1.25p towards the end of the previous week, was at 1.10/1.15p and was knocked down to 0.95p. Yes the market wasn’t good on Monday but not all stocks suffered such a big drop and others subsequently recovered, Angus did not. I wonder if this drop in SP was related to the pending placing,

From 1.15p the discounted placing could have happened at 1.0p, instead of 0.8p.

Here we are again … yet another placing below 1p and is not over yet.

Not2sure, 12p to 0.8p might be a drop of 93.33% but we now need 15 bags (1500% increase) to get back up there from the current level.
