Crocqman, I have been doing this kind of work all my working life, 40+ years.

Nothing is certain, things change, but you start with a plan. Once the FID is in place, you make your plan, design & engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, testing and handover to operations. The plan consists of bar charts depending on the length of each activity leading to the final handover date as stated on the plan.

When you start you make certain assumptions and you could be out on your finish date, but as you progress the engineering and procurement and you place firm orders the plan gets a lot more accurate.

Here, with a SFB, we are now at a stage which is already 3 months past the original re-re-re ... re-revised date of December 2021. All orders are placed, engineering is effectively complete. Yes, Angus should know by now (subject to timely PP & EA approvals) when 1st gas will be - within a day.

James, yes +/- a day, I exaggerated a little to emphasise that at this stage Angus must know when gas will flow, accurately.

For the last time, because you will soon find out and I will not have to repeat it - first gas in Q1 2022 is not achievable, it just cannot happen, it isn’t possible no matter what the RNS is saying - equipment has to get to site, installed and commissioned and there isn’t enough time to do this

Just looked at the IQs - a lot on the FSP (dead cat) and nothing on what really matters - a date on which gas will flow.

At this stage Angus should be able to predict 1st gas with an accuracy of +/- 1 hour.

SelfishMcNimby, straight after the exceptional Wressle flows were announced the SP run up only to be arrested and reversed when SO had the investor presentation on Wressle and at the same time talked about the IMMINENT North Sea acquisition.

The point made there is that he should not have announced the “imminent acquisition” until it actually happened. Announcing it at that time induced fears of placing - completely different to saying a placing is coming. This view was shared by Serif and other LTHs. Me personally I emailed SO asking him to clarify that.

That is it, I am not discussing this any further. If you think debating facts is scaremongering … carry on.

If you believe that Angus will deliver gas ion Q1 this year carry on believing this. You will soon find out.

Final point, as you saw from the EOG SP advance debating facts on this boards did not affect the SP.

Gideons, even you must realise by now that 1st gas in Q1 (even if Angus said so) it simply isn’t possible.

SelfishMcNimby, you are not been quite straight with the truth here - the reference to a possible placing at EOG was in relation to the imminent North Sea acquisition that SO announced and arrested the SP advance on the Wressle windfall. A view shared by many (long term shareholders) on that board. Ofcourse the North Sea acquisition did not happen.

Some people thgiunk that when you buy shares in a company you have to be a cheerleader for that company. Nothing the company does can be criticised. Just like fans in football teams. Well, not me - my money is riding on it.

And more to the point, do you think that saying that 1st gas by April is not possible is scare mongering?
