How would we pay for them ?
Great posts from Fuey and Ovets . Couldn't agree more with both of you.

Perhaps we will hear of a Takeover/Merger by a big player for RKH and/or PMO ? Is it likely to be Cairn , BP or Shell ?
Thank you Mogger for the link . Extrapolating forward that means , assuming the hearing finished by end of Feb. , then it would be a maximum time limit of by the end of Aug. when we should hear of the outcome of the award or no award , what ever the case .
Nigoil , Todays date , 7 June and referring to the visit by FIG MLA's during mid May - as posted by Mogger which I am very thankful for , as with everything he posts
It does not exactly augur well for progress any time soon ie. within the next 12 - 18 months after reading the Merco Press article saying " there was still a long way to go until project sanction " , according to MLA Spink .
So , I don't think any of us should hold our breath - better to shove the shares in the bottom drawer and forget about them for a few more VERY , VERY LONG YEARS .
Carrot ,
Thanks for the freebie Advt. I'll get a buyer in no time now with all the super rich Rocky investors clamoring for my pile !!!! . LOL
I calculate that the British Gov't has spent £2775 mln. ( 37 years x £75 mln. ) on the FI defence since the end of the conflict , ( How much we can attribute to the cost of the conflict itself is another mute point ) so if that is balanced against the $750 mln. EC funding cost for the Sealion project , I don't think anyone can put up an argument against that funding , especially when weighed against the benefits to all of the project .

With reference to British Steel , it is difficult to understand just why HMG failed to assist . Why could they not save circa 30000 British jobs for a cost of approx. £30m , plus , say another £100 - £200 to safeguard the future of the Plants etc. , in comparison to ploughing £30bn. PA into so-called Third World countries , including Tiddly Winks championships in China and Gay Rights in India , all for David Cameron's legacy .??????
And , while we are on with Politics ; Just imagine the outcome of the Brexit negotiations if Maggie had still been PM ?? Would we still be faffing around with backstops etc. etc ? And would she have given Barnier , Macri and Tusk , the Hand Bag treatment ??? !!
Cheers , Mate .
What was the outcome with those then , Carrot ?
Sorry Redon my comment was made before I managed to yours .
Just a thought but would RKH's External Legal Team have been willing to take this case on , on a No Win / No Fee basis if they had not thought RKH had a bloody good prospect of winning substantial damages in this particular instance ? If there is no positive result , it would cost them quite e few £Mils for nothing .
Ovets ,
Perhaps Malcy tried to get him on , but Sam turned him down .
GL fella .
Many thanks for your input - which is a lot more than can be said of our resident optimist , Nigoil .
More like he's out having a Lobster Dinner with his pal , Sam ??? !!!
Ask them what we ACTUALLY got in exchange for giving pmo 60% of Sealion and why we have had to give most of that back again in claw backs ?
Ask them why we they didn't insert a get out / cancellation clause and a penalty clause in the farm out in the event of production not commencing in x number of years ?
Has just now hit $74 .
Sorry mate . i live too far away - in Aberdeen - and I am too old to be let in the door !!
Ovets ,
I would tick your comment up a dozen times , if It was possible .
