Takeover news - If the takeover goes through (only If it does!), I would suggest a target offer price per share of between 45 to 55p. The forward earning potential, plus cash make this quite an attractive share at the moment. I have topped up today. DYOR and enjoy!

Below is an extract from TTG's trading update on 30 June 2009 (From Lloyds TSB Share News). Indications look good - Even in the automotive sector. This one is cheap and has legs. Actions taken by the Group have enabled profitable trading during May and June and progress has also been made in reducing working capital and controlling capital expenditure. Despite the restructuring costs, the Group's net debt is now lower than at the start of the year. The results for the first half of the year will be announced on 20 August 2009.

Riser - A good strong performance will be seen with the results, pushing up the SP. Carmakers are not getting any worse and some argue are on the up. As for Aerospace, Defence, Industrial and Sensors divisions - all of these are performing well. With restructuring and refocus of the business, TTG are going to fly. Wait until the release! Check-out the breakout (6 month graph) already in progress.

Good News in the car industry -Toyota predicts a much smaller loss than expected and is looking to return to profit next year (See article below)...... This should give TTG a big boost (Since it's one of Toyotas suppliers), and looks favourable for the results on 18 Aug 09. Aerospace suppliers reporting confident news too RR, BAE, etc. This is very good, I can see 70p to 80p by the end of this year if not more. IMO this one is going to fly. ALM should start to breakout over the next month (check out the 1 year graph!). Now its back in profit, a dividend in the pipeline and stabalisation of the business we should see some increases - possibly 40p by the end of year. Good luck and DYOR

What you failed to mention, is that TTG is more than just automotive. They have divisions in aerospace, industrial, sensors, etc, etc.. all of which are performing very well. Automotive at the moment is, i agree, flat - but this division is not driving the company. I suspect the RNS due out in the next few weeks, detailing financial perfomance will be quite positive. This is one to watch, and i beleive at current levels, to be very cheap IMO

Don't worry folks, the drop in SP is probably due to a bit of profit taking, following the recent 'good news' announcement. This one is going to be a little gold mine over the next 12 months. I also expect some good rises over the next few months in the run up to the dividend.

With the general economy stabalising, we should see some improvement with DISL's SP (cash, sales and profit) over the next few months. I would also suggest that all parties associated with the CVA are pushing DISL to dramatically improve ready for selling the company in order to maximise their returns. I suspect we will see movement in Aug/Sep concerning the sale/takeover of DISL. So far, DISL has bumped along the bottom, but think that the SP would rise above 2p on any news. This one could double instantly!

I suspect that DISL will now be aquired by one of it Major suppliers/competitors. With a depressed SP, a takeover is a very real possibility. Not because this is a successful business, but, because of the CVA. A buyer could effectively get heavily discounted/free stock, work under the terms of the CVA, whilst using the new banking facility that has been made available. I suspect whoever bought +£90k last Friday figured this one out quite quickly! DISL is going to fly.

This one will pass 2p by Monday afternoon. Suspect some of the directors/staff are going to pile in, plus small scale MMs. Expect this to be steady around 2p to 2.25p for a few weeks following this surge! DYOR and good luck

My view is that ALM, against it competitors is undervalued. I would say that based on its performance, cash, sales, profit and current order book the SP should be in the region of 35p. This valuation does not take into account a possible dividend (which could drive the SP slightly higher). I suspect the lag in SP is due to the legacy of legal action that is now closed (in favour of ALM, who have now been awarded a significant sum of cash). I personally don't believe that the rumours of a take over have skewed the current price. If however there is a wiff of a formal statement from ALM about a takeover, I would predict that the SP would double+some pretty rapidly. Personally, I'm happy with my investment of a few £k, with a top-up here and there, and a solid steady climb in SP over the long term. I think we will see a strong performance from ALM this year.

There has been talk on and off of a potential takeover, over the last 2 years. ALM even issued a statement about 18 months ago (About an un-named buyer interested in the business), causing the SP to double overnight, but eventually came to nothing due to the legal dispute that was ongoing at the time (note, all legal issues have been closed in favour of ALM). Interesting to look at recent notification in major share interest (Gartmore 11%, 27 April, Hermes 5%, 27 April, Gartmore 10%, 21 Apr and Mayfair Capital 20%, 17 Apr) it seems something is brewing. No smoke without a fire springs to mind. As for a take over, anything is possible at the moment

I agree. The current drop looks like nothing more than profit taking. This is a medium/long term steady riser (few % each week), with a lot of potential. Hopefully we will get some good news in the form of a dividend soon. The difference with this company, is that it has no debt's, cash in the bank and increasing orders. What more could you ask for!

This one has been a bit of a dog lately and I have decided to sell up tomorrow. With all the hype around caravans sales, when I though about it - now car sales are through the floor, wouldn't it be correct to assume that caravans would follow (Unemployment up, people generally broke, negative equity!). Think the argument about people holidaying in the UK (with caravans) wearing a bit thin. The real case probably, is that people are just staying at home and saving cash. There was news some 12 months ago about a takeover, but fizzled out due to legal action. Legal action is now finished so anything is possible! That aside, still looking like a steady riser - will be happy with 10% each month!

I've done a bit of research this weekend on ALM, and the outlook is pretty good (Obviously DYOR). All legal disputes are now settled (with ALM receiving £17m cash in the bank!), fast growing order book, increased sales, improved profit and a possible dividend payment in 2009/2010 (see brief news - 26 Mar 09), there are now also 'buy' recommendations on this share. See the 'break-out' starting to happen on the charts over the past 6 months. I recon ALM is well undervalued, and my prediction is that the price will hit 30p by the end of May, and possibly 50p by the end of this year. Will be topping up with a few £k.
