Hi City....I would agree that they are in discussions to sell stem...hence the delay October November...if discussions fail they will demerg. Imo they are more interested in protecting and driving their other assests.

There is a link to sng in azn video....azn raised £2.3 bn....less £370 million to I think redx....£800 million to daiachi for cancer drug...possible £13.7 million to refinance net debt. Leaves a clear £1bn...for deal takeover....my calcs suggest if takeover for £1bn....equals £6.70 per share. Dont forget most directors are elderly and will make more than enough to retire from £1bn....£1bn to £2bn has been touted as valuation...however to get to that figure sng will need further advancement of the company.....£1bn seems fair as current value for current state of company.

Deal or takeover this week...dont forget...azn still have £1.13 bn unaccounted for from the bond raise.

Apologies..nolupus...was not aware of your full investment in sng....however I do read your posts as they provide balance and an alternative view on things which is important.

This is something I have thought about....at current prices it makes sense to raise cash if they were going it alone. I think they are looking for a partner or takeover to take it forward...the directors are all quite old...having worked on this for 15 years ...now that they have not only made money...but also brought the only viable treatment for covid I think they will be happy with a takeover. Imo

Ha agreed...he bought tils in the 60 to 70 range as soon as it was derisked...however tils was on nobody's radar....I bought between...48 to 70 prior to derisking....similar he only bought into sng after trial results. And said he bought about a pound...however I remember it being impossible to buy....and they would take all my stock above bid....I remember he was quite negative prior. However I am sure his approach has incurred him limited losses. I cannot say the same for myself...I always buy prior to drinking.. and have incurred larger losses....however both tils and sng have wiped out all my losses and I am in the nicely in the green overall

However lupus was not wrong with Tils....I am only in 2 stocks sng and tils...happy with how both investments have played out

Azn has just done a bond offering of £3bn bond offering....no reason why?....will they take over some competition??????

Watching...been in and out of nsci....it does not hold gains.. and is a gamble..only lost money..I bought pds instead ....just keeps increasing

Have held sng for 2 years...bought at 16p...18p...22p....sold at 20p....small profit....watched sng and all my other woodford stocks...get virtually wiped out....bought back at 17p.....sold half my holdings at 54p....bought more at 49p....cried at 34p.....sold all at 216p.......bought a small amount at 195p......why have I bought back you ask....when this was in 30s and below PI's bore all the risk...and in process made losses and we were lucky made gains. However this has now been derisked and now the big players are investing. Follow the money.....big players do not lose...they have the best advisers...the best research..have access to the ceo...they always win when us measly pi's often sell too early. For those who have taken profit...well done...however the big gains are yet to come and time and time again PI's sell too early. ....this is the only product that has been proven effective....everyone focused on oxford vaccine...so their process is they give someone the vaccine or placebo...in order to find out if it works...that person has to catch covid...what if no one with vaccine gets covid...how long will that take.....the current uk govt have got the stupidest advisors around...they have put all their eggs and reputations in the oxford trial...and will try and bull**** us into accepting this....when they should be pushing sng001...sooner or later this is being taken over...and it will be disappointing if it is not a British company like gsk or azn taking us over. Buy with confidence
