Thoth gave you a clue - no one will be hanging around at the knife-edge of P3. SAR is at a much earlier stage. Presumably the sp is less likely to take a 90% dive because we're not expecting an instant and more or less final win/lose result on any one compound - but be careful here. This sp is so unpredictable (to me) that I buy in small tranches - on the lows - and I'm holding back to see if more lows follow the consolidation.

I'm sure its not game over yet - the virus has a habit of twisting and moving - and different therapeutics move in and out of efficacy as a result. Syn has good safety data, which is a good start - the virus might be clogging up the world's health services for the next 40 years - I will pick up some more if the sp slides. Good luck all.

I think it is more than a slim chance. Most of the Covid therapeutics have been failing with regards to hospitalized patients - there are too many complications when people are that ill. However the recent science papers - many of them shared here - - were pointing to a potential efficacy of interferon treatments in early stage intervention - which is what Activ is looking at. I guess the sp should reflect that Synairgen is small company with a promising drug in Phase 3 trial for Activ - sponsored by US Govt - and potential EUA if those results are good. Must be worth more than 40p.

Brii Bioscienceds- like Syn - and like nearly all the big pharmas - have failed to come up with a treatment for hospitalized patients - but Brii are applying for a EUA for early stages treatment - I would not be surprised if following Activ, Synairgen follow suit. Its the more probable outcome. Everyone fails with the hopsitalized cohort - to date. Be very interesting to see what Polygon do now.

Bad news - I think - for Synairgen. But I have long suspected they might succeed in the US Activ trial - pretty much everyone fails on a treatment for hospitalized patients (eg BRii Biosciences, failed on hospitalized cohort, applying for a EUA for early stages treatment) - be interesting to see what their large holders Polygon and Polar do now.

My guess - and its only a guess - is that nothing is disclosed. Nothing is told. And hires - if they are experienced enough - know the rules of the game. And investors can read nothing - zero - nothing - into the hiring. But would be good to hear from someone with b/g in pharma who can tell us if people like RM would normally slip someone a nod and wink with regards to confidential data.

I have been buying Sareum on the assumption that someone (or a force of nature) has been lifting and crashing the sp. I've been buying the super lows. It shot up today. We are getting close to consolidation so I'm wondering if there's going to be a last, wild ride. Also wondering if consolidation can stabilize the sp.

Perhaps you have seen this kind of thing before but over at Arkle one PI says he bought 1% of the comp and single-handedly, took the sp up 17% earlier this week. Irish Zinc I think it is - Glencore and Michael Gentile on the side-lines - apparently Glen already tried to buy it so maybe its got potential.

I haven't been around long enough to answer that question! But everyone loses in casinos and they are all still there - so I guess a new crop of investors will keep turning up. Mobile phones and on-line trading platforms mean more retail investors than ever before. Kids at my brother's school spend their birthday money on crypto - endless terrible ads on YouTube inviting you to join some fella's trading program - there's some caffeine in the system, I think.

innit. I think 'they' are going under cover of the general market slump to hit certain stocks even harder - so most are down like 5% but HE1 and SAR are taking a much bigger hit today. I also suspect manipulation using US interest rates/Putin as cover.

Wondering if ANIC will ever get pushed down close to 11p. Watching MITC in the US - and Eat Beyond Global in Canada - all cellular meat stocks are hit hard and in unloved phase. but I like this sector - although I don't expect really serious upside - assuming these companies are still standing - for years. Just watching and waiting for now.

Bit anxious those Bloomberg types. I thought that fellow Peter Krauss - on about 13 minutes in - was to more my taste. He expected short-term volatility, hoped Ukraine would be contained (market rally at that point) - and then expected.Fed gradually nudging up rates...slowly and carefully.
