A lot of people on the LSE boards love to quote Warren Buffet well this is it. You are now in one of those key, historic moments in the life of a company. I don't want to use the blood metaphor as it is extremely distasteful but this is an extraordinary buying opportunity. The shares are so cheap they are at 'wholesale prices' - even if you are risk averse you can get a reasonable investment for a very small outlay - £500 will give you a great stake. I can't get bogged down in the data, the percentages, the FDA or MHRA rules etc - and at these prices I don't have to. I just can't help feeling as sentiment is fearful of buying, then I will buy. Please be aware never gamble more than £3-4,000 on any one company - so if you do follow me, which I don't recommend, I never bet the house on this game.

I would imagine your work is done. I would not despair because I think we are going to be surprised at some point - we may not get £5 or £10 per share but I think something is going to come back. And there are some charming Leslie Howard films on youtube - Pimpernel Smith is good escapism. He is worth knowing about if you are a fan of lovely old British films.

I'm also bored with this Poly thing but I suppose once you have an idea of what their average is - or what average they are heading for - then we know what the company is worth - or what the sp should be. Anyway too late for this kind of thing - and Ukraine too sad for words - at least right now it is - I'm consoling myself with a Leslie Howard movie, and if that makes no sense to some of you...you are missing out on something wonderful from the distant past.

Presumably Polygon always had a plan for Sprinter failure. They must have war-gamed a few options. Just as they must have had a plan for its success.

I'm glad the circus has returned. Be very interesting if Poly are trying to buy and sell on or break up the company. Be even more interesting if Syn don't want it to happen. All beyond me - just back to clown/speculation level for me - but at least on a low entry point/average - what happens next. No idea. But glad its exciting and a bit cheerful again. I liked someone's post about just how much Poly or whoever they partner with would have to pay per share to take over the company - that was a good read. Good luck all.

You can get philosophical. And money is not everything. If you have somewhere warm to live and family/friends you have it all. I know some rich people - their lives are not that good.

I don't have that much time for research at the moment but if I did I would have a much closer look at Paxlovid - it would be good to keep an eye on the safety profile of Pax, its effectiveness with regards to different variants/family groups of Covid etc. Any weakness in Pax - even though we should be glad great Covid drugs exist - but any weakness in Pax is a great hope for the next wave of early stage anti-virals.
