Poly buying? New investors buying - I would - this is a good punt for newbies - nice and cheap, lots of potential - personally I would buy even if Activ is canned because I think Covid is a wild, unpredictable virus and Synairgen - with good safety data - has a shot at the big time.

No idea. I have no experience of investing in pharma. Can't compare Syn to anyone else's pattern of behavior in similar situations to make an assessment. For me - focusing on the science, Covid (which changes many rules) and Tet's buying.

Unless you work in pharma or have been investing in pharma for...what...5-10 years - can you really make a clear assessment regarding the BOD and the trials. You have the facts - defo - but any interpretation, unless you have the b/g or the experience, is probably of little value.

I don't think so. But there was talk about Poly or 'another buyer'. Yesterday's rise was more likely another big buyer? In which case they might be at it again today -which means what? Shake in the morning then sustained rise? Be great if someone else can see what Poly sees and is coming in as a result.

I bought a few today. I didn't realize nickel was up. I had some small profit from POG and just noticed that HZM was turning blue when everything else was red - tempted to hold as I figure we are at the beginning of a major re-alignment of supply chains of key raw materials - Next Source Materials took a 11% hit today - up til now its been super bullish. Presume its a buy unless there's something about vanadium I don't know - but used for making batteries that store the surplus generated by wind power? Sounds like a real SIPP classic for our realigned world - one to tuck away for a few years.

Yes its not a great sentence. Combined with the details in the SAB press release it gives pause for thought. But I guess over in the US they do need to re-think things - it must be hard to work out the efficacy of a therapeutic in relation to a virus that keeps changing to evade immunity/antibodies. I do think the safety profile of Synairgen gives it a good shot if a new variant, for example, forced the authorities to think about moving more quickly...but really...its all beyond me.

Hopefully they are going to make a low-ball offer for Andy.

They released the in vitro data today - which presumably wasn't their plan - because they don't want to sp to completely collapse? Does it come down to the science now. Is this good and useful science in the battle against a virus that may go on for decades?. I imagine that is the question a potential buyer of Synairgen would be asking themselves, esp now the company is going to be super cheap.

Read SAB's press release -doesn't offer great promise. Although I heard from 2 co-workers today, both suddenly taken ill with weird symptoms (cramps, screaming headaches etc) - both testing negative - but a reminder of how things are these days, all the same. How the future plays out for Synairgen must have something to do with the trial data and whether it holds any promise of utility or value in a Covid landscape that may last for decades.

are you watching the pattern of buys - presumably Polygon? I can't help feeling Polygon holds the cards in this game at the moment. But we shall see.

I think this is going to be a patience play. Not the patience people talk about casually but the real patience that you have to sit with and experience. And if you have that patience you don't look at the sp every few hours or days. Or even weeks.
And if you can't imagine that....hmmmm...you may not enjoy your investment in a pharmaceutical company.
