If anyone still in, this seems pertinent - some of the competition (MABS type drugs) suspended in leading NY hospital (not so effective, it seems) - I am still cautious with Synairgen, wouldn't bet the house on it, but more than content to hold some shares if news like this keeps breaking.

Just turning up again to say thanks for the advice re Sareum the other week. I'm still in the comp - they had a promising RNS today - some facts (as opposed to fantasies) to put a floor under the sp. For all that It will probably take a knock or two (consolidation mooted) if you are looking for a buying opp.

My limited experience with consolidations is the sp goes down for a few hours or few days but if the company is good and the investment case is solid then the sp goes up. Not much to worry about unless you a short-termer. Or trying to sell and buy back and get a handful more shares - which is kind of stressful IMO - esp as SAR might pop at any moment on some random bit of news (eg Sierra, Covid etc).

Consolidation. I remember a while ago when this was first mentioned and some posters were very unpleasant to whoever mentioned it - shame on you!!!!! - as Thoth suggests this is the path to bigger investors like polar capital and all those sorts - its no fun when you have less shares but its probably part of a long, solid path to much higher sp - having said that it might not be a such a long path....covid is clearly an accelerator. anyway happy to hold...no idea how long things will take...going to try and learn patience. but a reasonably fab RNS if you are going long, methinks. And a great time for newbies to get on board...this looks very cheap at the moment....potential is collossal!!!!!!!!!

I was reading some US biotech guy's twitter - will try and post the link later if I get time - he was one of those corporate, young, switched on types (CEO or something fancy) - he was saying accept the virus is endemic, stop thinking pandemic - and just get on with life - vaccines work, we have therapeutics...so...end all restrictions and get on with life. some people countered and said 'try telling that to a nurse spending hours intubing a patient' but maybe his attitude is the approach that will drive investment and velocity to therapeutics market. I'm not saying I agree with him or anything - just wondering if that is how wealthy, powerful people in the US are thinking.
