The resettlement and compensation started 9 months ago. It's in 4 phases. Phase 1 is for the land they need first. Phase 4 will probably be completed in around 18 months time. They need access to only a small part of the mine now. They aren't moving everyone in August that's absolute nonsense..

The tailings and waste areas aren't needed for at least a year, the pit area more than a year.

They need access to the factory area, airstrip and substation in August.

This is why they have a plan. Why are you trying to second guess it and cast blame or suggest it's a problem. There's a plan and it's on schedule.

Also to look forward to DFS on Tula Kapi underground, drilling and a reserve declaration that will be updated with further drilling over the next couple of years. Granting of exploration licenses by the Ethiopian government. I have been working on this because it's clear in the cadastre that Kefi has only one small exploration license. Many areas are under applicatiion and shown as incomplete or awaiting payment.

The Ethiopian government are currently not processing these licences and they are tightening their grip on the process. Now minimum commitments have to be given with licences around time investment in exploration.

This is in response to the land grab by certain parties, where they are just sitting on the ground and not progressing it.

KEFI will be granted 4 substantial licence areas in the very near future. They amount to more than 800 sq km .

They are where I expected them to be looking.

Currently obvious proximal discoveries are credited to kefi but not in their control. I suggest in the future they will be.

Some buys in the red print this morning. Volume low and the tide is out. It's about to turn positive in my opinion. Ultimately though the seller is in control. Assuming the 2.5m 1m 1m rapid seller stays absent the share price will rise.

I am sure we'll all feel better at 2p in 4 or 5 months time.

Simply for the hard of hearing, if the share price doesn't lift to around 4p over the next 12 months then the Kefi will be taken over at 4-6p.

As an investor I am here for dividends so getting the share price up into safe levels is priority. That's not to say it won't still get taken out if gold is much highervat the same time.

My view here changed because the golden eggs can be taken and the goose can be destroyed. This is because the eggs are the current value, the goose is more aspirational

Harry focusing on TK1, Harry sits in on the meetings but TKGM are overseeing the construction of the mine by contractors. Harry doesn't have a big role in TK1 it's the COO who does the day to day intervention.

Harry also has no role in exploration. Jeff will receive budget and get on with it. Harry may come along and kick some rocks but has little input. I have worked in the field and nobody wants the CEO influencing geology decisions. At some point Harry will get updated.

Right now Harry is running around shaking hands and preparing the ground for what's ahead.

BT it makes no physical difference, just sentiment. This is a long term investment so investors shouldn't be focused on sentiment. Traders focus on sentiment and that's why it impacts the share price by either pushing the price down or capping it up.

This time next year the stability and trend for gold becomes important.

fantasy harry is clearly excited about tkgm opening and producing that's 2 years. he is committed and excited about exploration and finding tk2 and tk3. he says they are there. he'll stick around for that. that's about a 4 year mission so he'll stay for that.

nothing is stopping the main market listing. they said next year. what's the rush. the aim won't stop the share price trending up. the drivers are ... they are opening a huge gold mine.

The gold price is just playing out. It's going to go up and down hundreds of times before we see gold from TK. It's irrelevant now.

It's one of the factors that determines if this is just a 10 bagger or a 30 bagger. Super high gold, more discoveries and underground as expected 1m oz and it's 30x.

However as an investor now I will take either scenario.

Harry is absolutely central to the success, he'll hand TKGM onto an Ethiopian in due course and Kefi will get a new CEO, maybe 4 years then people can moan about their decisions.

Ultimately the Ethiopian government needs to access the sea and realistically that can't be done by threat or repression but through negotiation. Ethiopia has massive leverage and Eritrea and the Tigray fighters are only loosely allied with a common enemy.

Ultimately Ethiopia needs to marginalise the fighters by reaching out to Eriteria directly.

During the peace talks both sides had no issues talking and negotiating. Ethiopia are on the verge of great wealth and prosperity. They need to include Eritrea in that opportunity somehow. The Ethiopia access to the sea only needs to be the port and a 5km wide strip.

The impact to Eriteria would be limited and they could be compensated many times over. Land exchanges, financial assistance, development assistance.

I think TK2 and 3 are inevitable. The gold source is unknown and deep in the ground, why would it just be at TK. Those shear zones at TK will be repeated across the region to the west.

It's been 9 months since o have been in Ethiopia but I doubt it's changed much. Average wage is around 100$ a month. Less rural.

I was in the east last visit but it's similar all over away from Addis and Dire where it's a bit more expensive.
