New month, new week, everyone ready and waiting, jostling for shares eased back so today could be the day we eagerly await.

A few memories there. Even dear old Wimbo got a mention. Ah the £1 party. Wimbo hoped to bring Mylene Klaas. Even she seems to have faded away. At a time it all seemed possible. Then a new president swept into Tanzania full of promises, leapt on the bandwagon of hydro power, abandoned coal just when Kibo was ready to go. That Stiegler dam should be built by next year. Any news of how it’s doing? The Rufiji still flows, fortunately. Then there were great hopes on Mozambique and Botswana. Now with coal no one wants, and a few side ventures. Even Katoro of which there were once great hopes has slumped. Is it the fault of LC or has he done the best he could in changing circumstances and attitudes?

It’s a while since I posted here though I have followed the chat. I have always thought Marstons had some flair, and whatever may be said about Brains and Ralph’s departure, I have still have confidence in the shares to the extent that after a long spell dithering I have rustled up enough dosh to have a little top up. Hope springs eternal

The project is probably too big even for one of the global companies to take on. A consortium bid does seem more likely, and of course it will take longer to get collective agreement on all the many details involved

I was sorry to read that Tillywiz and Mac had been suspended. For me they were valued contributors and hope it won’t be long before the are allowed back albeit duly chastened. In the meantime I am pleased to see some faithful disciples who seek to rally the spirits of any doubting Thomases.

Another adjective with which to conjure. Is it relevant, significant or even portentous that Blackrock seem to have been inactive for several days. Ordinarily they would be posting notices of daily deals done.

Yes I read the RNS but thought a dividend was an alternative the company could take if it was not bought outright, rather than being the only likelihood

Why all this talk about a special dividend? It seems to be based on the assumption that EUA is now too big to be bought outright. Surely it could yet be bought as a going concern.

I too first invested about 15 years ago and had hoped that the grande finale would have been concluded long since, but likewise continue to hold on. It has been an interesting experience and I remain hopeful. My other CS venture Kibo has not gone as well but I still hold on there too.

So far today four times as many shares have been sold than bought. Indeed most days recently buys have been far more than sells, the share price slips gently back. Ordinarily one would expect a preponderance of buys to push the price up

It’s good to see Blackrock continuing to increase its holding albeit gently. Now up today to 1.38%..
Twice as many buys as sells on low volume. May be more big buys at close of business. Shareholder confidence remains strong.
