That boosts one’s confidence. They seek long term growth for their clients and presumably think like most of us that this company has good long term prospects

I only heard of Garry and his hotel through your postings which made your breakfast encounters enticing enough to draw one to southend. Life can at times be so unfair. Garry’s dreadful illness and inevitable outcome does put everything in perspective. I am so pleased that there was such a good turn out. His life was indeed one to celebrate

I find it intriguing when two digit buys appear, and at close of trading today there was a veritable flurry of them. Portentious ? If so, of what?

Mac’s posts have always been reassuring as he states what we all know are the positive reasons for holding on to our shares. Also reassuring is that Anders Murray, Philip Taylor and John Bromley who each hold approx a 1% shareholding continue to do so.

Poor old Gary. He bore a cruel debilitating disease with dignity, and in his day had developed a thriving business. I guess that’s the end of the legendary Thursday breakfasts.

There has been, imho, too much comment and disinformation about the war. The recent post about the Azov crucifixion has been on internet since 2014 and there is no evidence to substantiate it. Even so the story is some eight years old. May I suggest we keep our comments to EUA and leave the war to the armchair generals elsewhere

So sorry to learn of your pal Gary’s further decline. You have always made the breakfast sound so enticing that I looked up the establishment on line, and saw what excellent reviews they get. Gary and his wife have much to be proud of. Les and his wife clearly also have the sympathy of our merry band of investors. Thank you meanwhile for your entertaining posts

Ian, I think you have expressed the thoughts and sentiments for all investors. We can but hope and pray that the current horrors will cease, though most sadly that seems unlikely. Putin can only do as he does because of the underlying support he has, while 71% of the population continue to support him, seeing only Russian news.

Some of us have observed how in recent weeks the day starts with a number of sales which leads to a drop in price, and most days by the end of trading the buys end up more than the sells. The sp closes up a touch or sometimes down a touch. Today the same occurred though the buys now already outnumber the sells. There always seems to be investors willing to buy. Surely this is hardly the sign of a doomed operation. Meanwhile the Ukraine leader says the border problem can be. Resolved by talking, and Macron seems confident he can find a solution. Perhaps he will guarantee that France would veto any suggestion that Ukraine join Nato. A unanimous vote of Nato members is needed
