Yes I remember GGP at that time and the lack lacklustre response by the market. The company had to reiterate how good the findings and it did take a long while for the more recent substantial rise.

I fear until they release actual figures, the market will take it negatively.

They are processing the Zinc now as well. Did I miss something - last time I checked it was just being stockpiled.

Hi steward1 - yes well aware of PREM's history and have held shares for many years. I've said in the past it's worth a punt here but I wouldn't advise anyone to put their life savings in. I'm looking at a longer term hold but that's just me. Despite the failure to deliver on many occasions I think GR has also had a bit of bad luck and things are very challenging in Zimbabwe. If he can pull this off, then the potential is amazing.

Yes I was thinking along similar lines. Also, the Greenland assets do not need protecting from Clogau since if it is not successful all they have to do is close the mine.

Well didn't think it was going to happen anyway. Probably a good thing as everyone would be trying to offload their shares at once.

Acker - to be honest I don't really see GR getting this all the way to mine stage without some kind of JV or at all (selling assets). At the moment by doing DFS alone he is potentially adding value for shareholders down the line. He is in a much better position to proceed in future based on the information he will get over the next 14 months. A JV at this point might have been good for the share price currently but overall a massive loss of value over time.

We have very little information at the moment about this split off. Hopefully the Q&A will make things clearer. It takes a while to do an IPO so it may be 3-6 months down the line and
we might have more news about Greenland by the time it happens.

Just let GF get on with the DFS. The DFS will not be complete by Sept/Oct anyway because it was always a 14 month project. It will get started eventually once the hurdles are out the way and we'll get updates along the way. You never know news might also come in about one other other assets.

Come on - 5% is not significant. Can you imagine the backlash if that were the case.

Just wondering how long this potential sale will take. These things usually take a while but I guess it depends on how much was done during the FSP. Does anyone think it is likely that we will get at least some more information in the short term?

Yes, the RNS says significant holding. 8% is not significant in my book.

but ALBA will still have shares in the Greenland assets - so not entirely.

I have held Alba on and off for several years. Quite a few years ago I was really impressed with the assets and thought this could do really well. As time passed it was clear that things were not progressing fast enough and when the company then got the Clogau licence I got out. The main reason for my thinking was the time and money it was going to take and the lack of progress on existing assets. After this time the share price decreased substantially. However, more recently the company has really stepped up in terms of progress with Clogau and this (and the rising share price) is what has got me invested here again.

The more recent news about splitting off the Greenland assets took me by surprise but I think it will be a good move. The company seem very upbeat about Clogau and there are plenty of updates which seems to be reflecting the company’s general optimism about the venture.

Surely new investors are in a better position at this price when concentrate has started to be produced. The rest of us long term holders have been waiting years through licence approval, mine renovation and resolution of unforeseen problems such as the bridge.

Greenland was always a few years away IMO. Clogau seems a lot nearer term - hopefully the de-watering permit will come soon.

They are taking a more widespread and technical view of the area. They are not just digging randomly - they are assessing the geology of the area.

There must be some major shareholders - what are they doing? He also has a responsibility to wrap up the company if it is not a going concern.

They need to release income figures. If these are good, SP will rise.
