George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
JV will confirm that UFO is sitting on a cash mine because big boys will not throw their money into an empty well. With silver rising and likely to double UFO will gain traction. I have been saying this is the next Solg. I am still sticking to it. Hope the management does not screw this opportunity.
Just a heads up for who are new and thinking to jump in UFO. This is not a quick buck share and as most of the mining stocks are. This may take time to come up in my opinion I would take a small portion reason being upside is massive and downside is less risky. of course dyor.
I will stop guessing the SP after looking at GGP, EUA and AST. The rise could be bonkers depending what is sitting underground. Due diligence and mines history is promising. JV is the way to move forward. With silver in play now and for sometime to come the value of UFO will multiplier effect.
That in turn bodes well for companies that predominantly produce silver, like Fresnillo (LON:FRES), or companies that have significant silver components to their exploration efforts, like Alien Metals (LON:UFO).
This week Citi upgraded Fresnillo from hold to buy, setting a price target of 1,250p, while Alien is rated a buy by analysts at First Equity. First Equity said it was “surprising” that the Alien share price hadn’t reacted to the upward move in silver, leaving open the possibility that a delayed reaction re-rating might be on the cards.
Thanks for the advice Mr T. I have a very limited exposure in this and losing will not shake up anything at my end. However, upside is likely to be a lot more exotic. I have more than 70% invested in physical metals and sitting on a huge stash. Good luck all.
I strongly believe Billy's hit the jackpot. No wonder they keep raising cash because they want to get in it. He kept saying we might do the work for others. This will rise above other very soon. Solg. style coming soon.
Rio Tinto, Anglo-Australian mining giant, was given permission to carry out the blasts back 2013 under Section 18 of the WA Aboriginal Heritage Act to expand its iron ore mine in Western Pilbara.
Over the weekend, Rio Tinto detonated explosives near the Juukan Gorge caves — culturally significant sites that date back more than 46,000 years.
“In 2013, Ministerial consent was granted to allow Rio Tinto to conduct activity at the Brockman 4 mine that would impact Juukan 1 and Juukan 2 rock shelters,” ABC quoted a company spokesperson as saying on Tuesday. “[Rio Tinto] has, where practicable, modified its operations to avoid heritage impacts and to protect places of cultural significance to the group.”
The Brockman 4 iron ore mine is located in the area of the Juukan Gorge, which sits about 60 kilometres north-west of Mount Tom Price.
The Puutu ****i Kurrama (PKK) traditional land owners said it was feared that the two ancient rock shelters were decimated by the blast.
“Our people are deeply troubled and saddened by the destruction of these rock shelters and are grieving the loss of connection to our ancestors as well as our land,” ABC quoted John Ashburton, chair of the Puutu ****i Kurrama Land Committee, as saying. “We recognise that Rio Tinto has complied with its legal obligations, but we are gravely concerned at the inflexibility of the regulatory system.”
I have been saying that UFO will be very similar to Solg. Did you also know that JP morgan bank has been accumulating silver since 2011. They are the biggest holder in the world and they are not fools and so is Billy. This could easily be 300 mill cap company.
