I think Mr Bond was referring to the fact that it is not ideal to leave the well with a drilled but un-cased section because this effectively leaves potentially multiple geographic sequences open together and it is better that they are cased and cement so to be isolated. Obviously in an emergency, this is something you would live with and fix when returning to the well, but it sounds like they have mislead the court due to the lack of associated detail. Don't think that is a good idea, didn't like it when I first read it and of course now the environmentalist will pick up on it.

Do agree with you Harry. Upside however is the increase in oil price which is compensating for the dilution. In the last month 10% dilution, 20% increase in the value of the product (assuming its there) so lets see.

Thanks but no issue. We are into semantics. Most of my career has been intervention and integrity of platform wells with a few sub sea jobs, so I think of RKB as opposed to SS. All good.
But main thing is of course, once DP trials done and we are over location, hit the seabed and we have spudded.

That certainly would justify the action.......IF.....we could get some credit for it

OK Sorry, I was thinking 600m sub sea..........Even so a 50m conductor seems a little shallow, but as you say, the conductor analyses would be established for this.

Jetting to 600m...........Thats a new one on me. Im not a drilling engineer but I work in the oilfied. Would love to hear about how they will "Jet" to 600m. CoMan, please educate us if you have time, I would not have thought it possible to jet more than 10 or 20m.
