oversight, totally agree, cannot understand peoples logic, currently trading at a small loss, but got to be in it to win it, so de rampers can sod off, they are not getting my shares, i am keeping hold of them lol.
I can see light at the end of the tunnel, but still a long way to go.
Hi oversight,
Agreed, forgot about the public holiday, but i feel we can all relax a bit now, I know i can for a further few extra days.
So let the dust to settle, and the meeting and signing take place, at some point next week, then we are all good to go.
lol
This morning i was a bit apprehensive as to what today would bring, especially after yesterdays roller coaster ride, I am sure we were all feeling the tension yesterday, i had a few bees last night, to relax and absorb what went on yesterday, but today, its been a great day, full of optimism, and the way forward looks rosie, granted we still have a long way to go, but we are closer to the light at the end of the tunnel, if you managed to hold on to your shares and didn't let the wasters or shorter's make up your mind for you to sell your shares then good on you all.
I kept hold of my shares, agreed at a loss, but looking at the future, i can only see profit, but that's my opinion, anyway, end of the battle cry, tomorrow is another day, but lets all be strong together, we can all get through this, hopefully we will have a nice RNS by the weekend, we know the signing will take place, so have the faith, its only a time delay, be positive and great things will happen.
Catch you all tomorrow, for another great day.
robjprofit, Deffo positive, the future is bright, time to now push on and reap thee rewards, agreed do not reply to wasters and shorters
Hope so robjprofit, lets hope that if we do receive any RNS then they are better than the one's we got yesterday, and a lot more clearer on the way forward, as long as they don't say the signing is on Monday, and then Monday arrives and nothing happens, that will just cause another rumble within the camp, and people will start to reconsider and sell their shares again, anyway, don't think i could cope with the stress again ha!
lol now that's funny officemanager "Filter Island "
I wasn't going to reply to "ericeric" i thought he sounded boring too lol, think he is trying to rock the boat, and take all of the love out of the group this morning haha!
Hope so buddy, fingers crossed for all of us, yesterday trading was a major blip, but hopefully we have pulled through that now, onward and upwards, can almost taste the champagne lol.
Welcome LongSuffering, you are in for one hell of a bumpy ride lol, but should all be good in the end.
Not signed last week as anticipated, surprise surprise, worked that out for myself, but isn't it strange that they only decide to tell us now, agreed the deal should still go through, but there seems to be something quite not right!
This is starting to become a bit of a joke now, and i do not think i am the only one who is beginning to lose the will to live, Vast are quick enough to issue Positive RNS when they need some funds, but are very slow off the mark and giving us any kind of updated information, very disappointing, I personally have only invested just over a grand, but i feel sorry for the people who have invested thousands, I am in it till the end, and wont be selling my shares, and hopefully there will be some light at the end of the tunnel, I am hopefully we will receive an update asap.
I am getting board now - Vast come on and give us some good news lol.
Hope so, fingers crossed.
Think i need a lie down!!
Totally agree, only way is up.
Kier Design and Business Services (DaBS) secures lots for architecture and mechanical & electrical engineering on £250 million Merseytravel framework
Team secures place on the framework, which supports transport and public sector projects across the Liverpool region, for second time
First project secured under new framework will involve a detailed condition survey of Merseytravel's Spaceport visitor attraction
Our Kier Design and Business Services (DaBS) team has secured lots for architecture and mechanical & electrical engineering on the new £250 million Merseytravel framework, which supports transport and public sector projects across the Liverpool region.
And we've already secured our first project through the new framework - a detailed condition survey of the Spaceport visitor attraction at Wallasey, which holds one of the UK's largest collections of Star Wars memorabilia.
Merseytravel is responsible for the coordination of public transport in the region and both the Kingsway and Queensway Mersey Tunnels. As well as Spaceport, it also manages the U-Boat Experience public attraction.
Work under the framework will centre on Merseytravel's estate, which comprises offices, bus stations, ferry terminals, park-and-ride facilities, public spaces and several important listed buildings. The framework can also be used by other partners of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority in the region.
This is the second time our DaBS team has been appointed to a Merseytravel framework, with projects won under the previous framework including the £7.5 million rewiring and relighting of the Kingsway Mersey Tunnel, which was completed earlier this year.
Our DaBS team now has over 80 professional and technical staff based in its expanding Liverpool design hub, and this is a great opportunity to further develop our relationship with Merseytravel, which complements our wider network of clients in the region including Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Foundations Homes.
Totally agree Rizzy1, only time will tell, but fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
Members of our Kier Utilities team will take part in an official contract-signing event later this week, following our appointment to the five-year £750m AMP7 Complex Civils Framework for Yorkshire Water.
The event in Leeds will bring together representatives from the contractors involved in the framework, along with Yorkshire Water, and will help to forge strong client and contractor relationships that will be vital as we start work on the contract in the coming months.
As part of the contract, our Utilities team will undertake civil and structural engineering as well as construction and refurbishment works. This will include work on operational treatment, collection and distribution facilities, including process treatment and water retaining structures.
This latest award reinforces our position as a top three utilities player in the UK and follows on from our recent award on Lots 2 and 3 of the five-year £2bn Severn Trent Water AMP7 framework.
Barry McNicholas, our Group Managing Director for Kier Utilities says: "We are delighted to have been awarded a place on the Yorkshire Water framework, particularly as this is a new client for Kier Utilities.
"Such awards provide visibility and stability to our order book and with the AMP7* well underway, we anticipate further awards in the coming months."
Mark Baker, Head of Programme Delivery at Yorkshire Water added: "We are excited to see the conclusion of this process and welcome our partners to support our ambitions and challenges into AMP7.
"They will assist in the formation of a truly collaborative, innovative and efficient delivery vehicle to help meet our Enterprise delivery model aspirations.
"The alignment of our objectives and a Programme First approach is a new direction for Yorkshire Water and we are confident that our partners can support this ambition."
*What's AMP7?
AMP7 stands for Asset Management Period 7.
An 'Asset Management Period' is the five-year period covered by a water company's business plan. These are numbered; with AMP1 referring to the first such planning period after the water industry was privatized. The current period (2015 – 2020) is known as AMP6, and the period for which companies now starting to plan (2020 – 2025) will be AMP7.
