I too have split my portfolio in a number of diversified companies. SOCO (dividend payer) TXP , TRINITY, sdx RRE and GENL

Peel Hunt names SOCO as a top pick noting that the Merlon acquisition resets portfolio and that the “stock offers 8% div. yield and 17% production CAGR”

Let’s hope the results are as expected next week

What’s that figure based on? In my previous experience of highly dilutive fund raising the price usually tags the fund raising price or just above it... but a 20% discount is a kick in the whatsits specially for those with averages above 20p!

Yes he did! It was very much an intentional act on my part! I have been reading and following the BB yesterday and today without posting much. I didn’t want to post anything towards you out of your respect for what you may be going through and your family situation! I saw some threats yesterday, one of which was at 07:32 posted towards me but I ignored it/ turned a blind eye!

I too have been through some things in the past year that have led me to focus on what’s important! Arguing with an anonymous poster who I have never met is not high on my priority list! I made six figures in the market last year (small fries compared to some) and I’m hoping to exceed that this year. But there are more important things in life than money! Some people don’t have health, others don’t have family. We should be grateful for the small things in life (family, health and happiness)

I must say that the IOG team came across very well! They were open, honest, articulate and approachable. They didn’t shy away from any of the sensitive topics. I would’ve liked more clarity on why they didn’t let RRE have more access so that they could formulate a formal offer, but they believe they can deliver value beyond RRE’s 20p per share ... If you believe in the management and are willing to wait to first gas 2021, then this isn’t a bad little company.

I specially liked their response to not “not having skin in the game” and they responded with their reputations are on the line! I believe this is especially true for Fiona who has had a terrible time of late with her bad experience at ECHO!

The new NED Essa looks like a class act! He comes across as a very credible and articulate guy! Most NEDs wouldn’t want to go anywhere near a LCF/IOG type situation but he articulated very well why he was up for it! His colleagues also spoke very highly of him !

Questions from PIs were also very inquisitive and probing! Thanks to all those who sent in questions.

They’ve talked the talk and now it’s time to walk the walk ... let’s see where they are by end of Q3!
