Possibly announce a deal for producing assets ! Didn’t think IOG was insolvent and she wanted to come cap in hand begging the city for some loose change and at the same time giving away IOG shares like confetti!!

Will the glorious leaders consider accepting a £1 salary until the SP is above the 20p they rejected without consideration is reached? This is very common in corporate America ! President / CEO will take a $1 until certain milestones are reached ! It shows they believe in the company !! I wonder if FM has the same belief in IOG ?

This option is only valid, if the deal to flood the market with shares is voted down! If the shares in issue becomes 300 million or half a billion in due course, then trying to sell the company will bring even more misery to all involved! “The billion” shares you mention, if sold for 20-30p will be £200- £300 million pounds! That’s more than the valuation of Serica Energy who are producing 25,000 BOPD!

But knowing what we know today, does anyone still think IOG management should have turned down the offer so quickly ? Or was it more prudent to have a chat with RRE and may be reach middle ground ?

I know that the 60p or 100p+ that some are looking was never going to be paid ! More business nouse or acumen by FM may have led to a higher offer than 20p (something in the 30p range)!

May be RRE knew what the situation was ...

You’re right twitter is sometimes full of rumours but there have been many an AIM fundraiser that was announced on twitter before the RNS got out! There’s a lot of city lads who know someone who knows someone ... if you know what I mean ...

Next RNS will make or break this ! I expect it by Monday morning! If they say they have commenced a deeper drill to investigate lower zone or started the sidetrack then the share price will double! If they say they are plugging & abandoning and releasing the rig then the 50p mentioned by some guys here this morning may be the next station stop !

TXP (which I also hold) said pretty much what you have explained below ! There’s no political appetite for SBT changes this year! Longer term is a different story!
