I’m starting to get bored of CHaR tbh

Our Ex CEO (now at SDX ENERGY) has just struck the deal of his life !!! SDX is now suspended pending publication of admission docs! Paul Welch plans to purchase 1 billion dollars worth of production assets from BP in Egypt ! Purchase will be funded by 300 million loan from BB + debt + equity !

Imagine what things could have been like if we still had him at the helm! Instead of being worth 36 million we could be worth 1.36 billion and listed on the FTSE 250 ...

Hopefully things will be clearer next week when we get our interms ...

Time is slowly running out ...

Does anyone know when we expect to get the results from cormorant... I know the geology is different but would be nice to start our own drill ...

Surly that’s a much bigger bite than we can chew ?? Hopefully any shares or placements are above 60p!

Very well summarised ! I believe the Q3 results which will be out 2nd week of October should show that we are on our way to 520-525.

A slight up tick in POG and we should be safely back to 1.20 range

Agree ! If it can close and stabilise above 40p then I think it’ll give us comfy that we have finally turned a corner!!

FPM has a net cash position of approximately £82.6 million ! They also announced that they made an operating profit of £82.5 million in the 6 months period to June 2018.

I would hope SQZ will be In FPM’s position in a few years time.

For the sake of transparency I am invested in both Faroe and SQZ. Each company has advantages and disadvantages. Faroe has 211 million bbls of 2P+2c. They have plans of reaching 35,000 bbls short-medium term and a longer term goal of 100,000 BOPD. They have multiple exploration programmes ongoing and planned over the next few months and are completely diversified in terms of production! The only problem is that they won’t be around much longer as DNO is expected to make an offer early October when the 6 month period expires. They currently own about 29% of the shares ! The other shares are owned by other institutional shareholders and only 12 % is in retail investors hands!

On similar metrics SQZ is highly undervalued! To close the valuation gap they need to
Further diversify production base
Increase production organically and by additional acquisitions
Increase 2p2c reserves and resources
Increase exploration pipeline
Consider paying a dividend

Norsk stop deramping! You’ve forgot a £3 in front of that 75p! Drilla will be here with his fag packet calculations as to why that is the minimum we can expect! Also don’t forget the 2 trillion bbl follow on potential which is also guaranteed! Norsk with all due respect mate ! If you have nothing better to say than “75p after 3 to 4 days” then say nothing at all and stop deramping!

Ariel if you manage to hold long term ! You could end up doing very very well from that purchase ! My average is higher (around 41p) after I averaged down... really looking forward to the next 6months here ... once the institutional sellers have disappeared and we are clearer on Fortuna this should start to move up based on SEA Assets

Very stable and building a base around 20.5 prior to the next move up! I’ll be very surprised if they go into the PI event next Monday without having a lot of new information to discuss. This board is surprisingly quiet given the fact that we are coming into results week next week!

Yes dunderhead ! It’s about the cost of the lost opportunity! I can name at least another 15-20 London listed oilies that have a better track record, history, profitability, prospects and management than AEX! If you are underwater and feel like you could get your money back , then wait but if not , there’s better opportunities elsewhere rather than tying up your money here or waiting for a miracle...
