Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Skilled work force Experienced successful board Access to blue chip customer base Route to market for existing products selling directly to businesses rather than the previous business, to business, to customer strategy which I presume clocked up the huge trade receivables Complimentary technologies They built the secure messaging product so should be able to comlete integration They are too deep in DFX to let it fail
My opinion is the reason is two fold. 1. This share was ignored for some time, news flow was poor and profit warnings were given, for these reasons the SP plummeted much below its value, this was why I invested just before the open offer as I felt that the news would have to be catastrophic to drop any lower. 2. BV Tech have taken a significant holding, meaning that they now control the board and the future of the company. This is good for 3 main reasons, firstly BV Tech are a a huge company in comparison and have a wide blue chip customer base and route to market for Defenx products, secondly they have the human resource to throw into Defenx to make up the shortfalls and bring the new products online. Finally this is now ripe for a complete takeover in the next year or two, AIM Rule 9 states they need to pay at least the highest previously paid price in the last 12 months, thats currently 160p and this time next year will be 8p or an offer price near or above the share price at the time. Also worth mentioning that only about 30% of the shares are in free float, therefore it doesnt take much volume to get it moving in either direction.
Got a good feeling about tomorrow, 35p could be tested.
ha ha, the new share issue and some limited dumped will inevitably hold it back, but i doubt we will see 10p ever again. Remember, the open offer shares only equate to only 25% ish of the total placing, even less if BV Tech pick up extras. Thats only 18% of the total new shares in issue. BV Tech are locked in as part of the partnership agreement and cannot sell until May, not that they would anyway. Either way i don't expect there to be a massive sell off, anyway the fundamentals are good and BV Tech will turn things around in the coming months.
That should help us push beyond 30p next week.
How's that short working out?
It can get scaled back, but mine havent, apparently, which is surprising as given the current price I would have thought they would be snapped up
Reddone, I called Barclays today and they confirmed I got my full excess amount. Allocation was finalised at 1100 today, so if you call your broker they should be able to tell you, the shares are issued on 24th
I know right! Been a good day, haven't had many of those recently. Managed to nail it on DFX also today, got confirmed that i've tripled my holding at 8p per share in the open offer.
Nothing special, Barclays smart investor. I say broker, I mean Barclays lol. Chuffed with that, didnt think Id get any over entitlement.
Correction managed to get 2 new shares for every original share
I managed to get 1 new share for every 2 original ones. Average now 10.02, hopefully this will keep going up until the 24th!
there we go. 30p next
if we break this it will keep going imo
Some pretty strong volume this morning. Come on 30p!
So my excess shares have shown as a separate line in my account this morning, hopefully will be added to the total later. Fingers crossed....
Placing as expected, but why so small?
Theoretically, yes. I'm hoping that the final results which are due now will show more value, despite them no longer being profitable.
Is an absolute joke, they will have 1.2mil in cash next week and 10mil in assets.
Also the old 1 trade, maybe something is afoot? Final results due? Or am i just being superstitious.
