NCYT can ramp up capacity as demand requires it.
" In addition, Novacyt has signed manufacturing partnership agreements with two further contract manufacturers based in the UK. This provides Novacyt with a total of six sub-contract manufacturers in addition to its own manufacturing sites in Southampton and Camberley, which provides greater contingency and the flexibility to scale-up its manufacturing outputs beyond eight million tests per month when necessary"
Just be cautious with AVCT and LFD. A few questions to ask about LFD
1/ How accurate is it?
2/ Can it handle multiplex testing for the upcoming flu season (no)
3/ What it CV19 mutates. Does that mean all LFD's currently distributed are now null and void. They would have to be recalled, and new LFD products would then need to be re-tested and re-shipped. Imagine the mess in the press if that happened. No problem with NCYT keeping upto date with all sequences of CV19 - simple software update.
4/ How does self administering work on test and trace. The gov need to keep a track of who has CV19, how does that work when people take the tests itself, are they to be trusted to feed their data back in to the CV DB for the Gov.
My point is there won't be one winner here, you'll need a combo of all. No test is the golden chalice winner takes all.
My word - the metallurgical report was the finalising of the flotation process to ensure the best recoveries could be had by processing the different rock mineral types. They now have that information so are ready to go - they will however make further improvements through time to continue to improve the recovery rates (especially the chalcocite and galena). However what they'll do know is initially use bornite / chalcocite stocks as they already have excellent recovery % on these. They can stockpile the chalcocite and galena and process them later down the line when improvements to the liberation process has been done. Now as to the free gold, they may wish to install the knelson concentrator on the flow line to get extra gold from the processing - whether this will hold up processing I don't know, it depends on how much free gold they may potentially miss and a calculation on their part whether they need to get that installed first. But in a nutshell they are good to start processing. All mines over the first few months will look to improve recovery rates as they mine, but it doesn't stop them processing ore and selling it as they continuously improve.
One state in India wants 11.5 m tests. NCYT are considered. THAT is one state out of 29. Then extrapolate that to the rest of the world. Big players like Roche say they can't keep up with demand. We are talking multi billion companies producing shed loads. But here's the thing, they are mostly producing 1 possibly 2x what NCYT produce (from the last update) mmm. Who are part of the big boys now. Every investor is scared that they have made the wrong choice, its actually a fundamental part of the process. THIS (sorry Usain for the capitals but it is really neede here to drive the point home to numpties) company is seriously undervalued, if you knew the whole story you would be buying shed loads. 130 countries. Think.

Surfie you have contributed nothing to this BB except project an air of of negativity. Negativity begets negativity. Perhaps try being positive once in a while and see where it gets you, and maybe post some research too.

I think those trials by Queens Medical have gone very well..Looking foward to the updates.
Don't hold many VAST sp, been in and out over the years, but just a note on some sanity here. BP couldn't have started production at a better time as we speak silver is up 90% from its lows this year, gold near 40% at ATH, Copper near 50% up from its lows this year. BP has great grades, and in a market with commodities and precious metals flying, will easily sure up financing in this climate. The bottom line to profit has changed dramatically in this landscape. BP profit will be close to 50% higher at least than what they were previously imagined when metal prices were lower.

"Proud to be supporting testing in UK 's care homes"
Interesting....The trials must have gone well...
CEO's of various diagnostic companies have been operating. Just noticed the RNS for ATVA - where they announced that Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine are doing evaluation on their test - shouted out from the roof tops , explaining that LSTM are at the forefront yada yada. NCYT had their tests validated for saliva by LSTM yet no mention of the test being done, only briefly mentioned after the fact. Despite the likes of gggg21 finding them first. Now I'm not sure which is the better approach - you can have two many RNS's so they feel like confetti - or fewer more impactful RNS's. But I do wish GM would maybe update the market a little more.
Jesus - look VAST is not a gold miner (its polymetallic) and not mining at 9g/t. However if it was purely a gold miner and did 14k tonnes per month (at milling capacity specified by VAST) and got 9g/t, and had 100% recoverable then ontarget it right. It would be near to 105m rev per year.

Dr_DMS - NCYT does 14-30 samples using its own Q16/Q32 system - it can also be used on the larger pcr diagnostic's that have 96 wells so can process far more at labs. As to NPT, the DNA nudge can do 1 test I believe in 90 minutes at POC, whilst NCYT's can do 14-30 in 60 minutes at point of care. Far higher through put in both scenarios.
I would sack whoever is charge of that volean short, there are so many companies in this time of crisis to short, retail, airports, the list is endless, but no, lets short the company that is actually fighting the thing that makes every over company less valuable, the one making a name for itself, earning huge amounts of money where demand is greater than supply that happens to have one of if not the best test kits that helps in this unique situation. Where that situation makes that companies prosper to astronomical levels, yep lets short that. What bunch of knob ends. That company is going down the drain.
Prop - that was announced in Monday's RNS so don't suspect we'll get another one. But its good that they are getting the word out, just when all the airwaves are on about getting antigen saliva tests at airport...'rubs chin'.
Bullish - confirming saliva
