Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
They are very quiet. What are they doing? Any thoughts re why they haven't capitalised on last weeks Bryan, Garnier independent broker note which by all accounts is very positive about MRx0518 and prompted a price target of 407p?
KTRB - what are the consequences of of ORPH joining this index?
sangi - i don't know what you're trying to do here. Lots of posting but I'm finding it hard to tell whether you are pro or anti 4D. No idea about oliveira, but seems an irrelevance to me - LOAC will have 13.1% of enlarged share cap, and if he owns 7% of that then that's 0.917% So what?
russky - I think CF@ORPH said these are 1st generation covid-19 vaccines (not phase I) - and that ORPH are preparing for trials etc of 2nd generation vaccines next year and beyond ...
None of which has anything to do with 4D ... This is NOT a covid stock - it is a world leader in novel therapies which will change treatments and outcomes for ever.
BP - I presume you are anticipating pretty good return from 4D considering there are so many others which could be attracting your expert eye?
newboy - I'm aware, also that we have more presentations scheduled for near future. I am specifically interested to know what the CHIMagents team are working on ...
Thanks guys. Will be great when thats sorted. Also interesting to know what they're working on at the moment ..
BP - if you get in at 80p (which I doubt) what will your target price be?
Does anyone know current situation re CHIMagents?
the downside risk from current sp is trivial compared to the upside reward potential (e.g. broker note at £4.07 for starters)
Could / should the British government insist that before any covid vaccine is purchased for use in a widespread vaccination programme across the country, it should complete a rapid human challenge trial? Surely without it they can't fully understand what they are committing us all to? It may also help with 'consumer' confidence!
scrambler - yes, a great find, thanks for sharing. It feels like every time I read something new about the microbiome it introduces more possible lines of enquiry - I was struck in this one not only by the cancer references, but also the possibilities around the more general 'troubling conditions of childhood' esp those most prevalent in developed / affluent societies. Amazing, hoping there are enough scientists at 4D to be able to be looking at all these areas.
(Although 4D is definitely not a 'covid stock' I also noted the line of thinking which led to 'Might a poorly diverse gut microbiome explain both the comorbidities [e.g. obesity, diabetes... ] and the adverse or exaggerated lung inflammation with covid-19 [esp. as seen in particular ethnic groups], and therefore why they track together?' I wonder if 4D is able to access microbiome samples of patients seriously ill with covid to test this hypothesis?)
... and by the way, CF, unlike almost any other AIM CEO that I am aware of, is providing numerous opportunities to ask questions such as these, with regular investor presentations / meetings which include Q&A. Anyone seeking more inf / clarity can ask - next chance I believe is this coming thurs - 19/11?
I suggest this is exactly the kind of company you shouldn't calculate value based on core assets alone. Listen to the presentations - there is a strong focus on sweating the assets to deliver ever increasing amounts of cash from them, with clear evidence this is being achieved. At the same time CF is maximising pricing based on the unique offering and what the market will bear. Looking forward, people don't invest in this kind of company based on current value (that's FTSE 100 / regular dividends territory) but on future potential to increase value and returns. In my view the presentations explain that a firm foundation has been established, that future potential is massive on all fronts, and that CF is not shy about going after it.
Thompi - you're right! CF gives 100% of himself to OO and is so positive about every aspect of the business. Finger completely on the pulse and driving every part to maximum achievement. Always clear, honest, open - we shareholders know what he's planning to do and achieve, and how. And if he manages it our investments will be worth 4x current value this time next year. And we could possibly have had 3 substantial dividends on top (Imutex, data, distribution from rapidly growing cash pile) or equivalent (e.g. Imutex shares on nasdaq). Wow - best and most interesting and exciting share on AIM (IMHO!) GLA
Government data suggests that if it [Innova LFT] isn't being administered by healthcare workers, this test isn't very sensitive. Among people with no symptoms, you could miss 40 positive cases of out of 100. Some positives will be people whose infectiousness is declining. But others will not test positive because they've only recently been infected. A day or two after the test, they could be highly infectious.
Another of the technological breakthroughs ministers are setting store by is the speedy Optigene LAMP test. It is made by a tiny company in Horsham, West Sussex, which, as the Mail revealed last month, now has a £387million contract to supply 600 devices. Preliminary tests on Optigene conducted by Manchester University suggested it detected only 47 per cent of positive cases in 'real world' – as opposed to lab – settings.

We might well not ...
Surely it would be an absolute PR triumph for the govt to confirm that it had bought enough to supply free all care homes for a couple of months, and this to be the first delivery off the first production line i.e. as soon as possible, with aim of opening up visiting etc for Xmas. And even more important, what it would mean for families and care home staff.
Come on, just do it!
In case you haven't seen it have a look at CF's October presentation slide pack which gives some insight to the absolutely stunning potential of ORPH, and the amazing progress which has been made in just a few months ...
