Given the slow pace of the RNS releases arriving here, has anyone got any recommendations for somewhere faster RNS's delivery's can be found.

Unphased, this deal as others have said will unfold over months not days and now content to sit on my shares until I see 25p when I will sell a third. After that 30p or above depending on news, flow rates and bids."

Just a thought on your strategy if the bidding process reached 25p, their is a chance the board would try to fight it or call it off (as they may believe undervalued) so understandably a sell may be the correct strategy to mitegate.

If however the bid goes beyond 25p (as I think it will) I would say we are in the zone that the deal will definately get done. Therefore the mitigation strategy could lose you cash & its better all in.

Once again tho what the hell do I know :)

I reckon price will just be anchored 1p over each offer that comes.

So we aint goin properly over 18p till the next offer lands - the rest is MM party time to do what they like with.

Yup MM's once again in control - but we all know its smoke & mirrors.

I'm a little weary of their games tho - I wonder what we could do to put a rocket up them, oh I know - damnit I said i'd stop banging on about it.

Fair enough ill stop, but carnt help thinkin the MM's are still running the show & Amer needs to take more control of the process.

Surely a small spend would:-

1)Strengthen the belief that this is the real deal - we do wanna sell up (& are commiting funds to help the process)
2)Clear up some of the lowbie traded shares the MM's are bathing in.
3)Dont think it would cost much to acheive that - & why do we need to save our cash for capex/CPO-5 surely that's the new owners problem.

At 50p my boss is gonna get an ear bashing, as I sail off into the Sunset :)

It maybe more proactive to buy (even at these 18p levels) as its highly unlikely to go down, whilst 30p is in the upper zone of bids (i feel it'll be higher than 30p but what do i know) & seems a shame just to get to breakeven vs make a profit after all these years.

Whilst I have to agree.

Anything less than 25p per share just would be so ridiculously unbelievable that Ross would be laughed out of town, I fear he is trying to build a commentary, till the time he is ready to act (at 25p).

Then on the basis of his then many posts, he could start to effect the thought patterns of posters on here (for all that matters) after all, at this point we would all be sitting on profits.

I would expect his narrative to switch to something like - SELL the deal aint gonna happen/this is the best we can get etc....

At which point people start losing money.

I place far more reliance on my own gut feels, plus posters comments that do not indicate fixed positions, as its a fluid situation & noone knows where it will end - esp Rossanan.

I mean really his entire narative hasn't changed even slightly & yet he feels the need to occupy every BB relating to Amer & ram it down peoples throats, with multiple posts saying the same crock.

Maybe im maxed out, therefore all I got left to do with my time is harrass you & your crock of crud valuation thories based on 12p.

Just imagine if this SP gets to 26p, your level of deramp will reach explosion level, just may as well nip it in the bud.

I just dont get why Amerisur tthemselves are not buying at this level (unless they carnt for insider trading or something) I mean they have the figure in their heads they want, they have the power to carefully stear the SP closer to their expectation.

Even the fact that Amer buy a small amount of shares would spur on the SP, & reduce any position taking.

I havent an account over there, if someone wants to call him out.

Whilst I usually carn't wait to bash our BOD (my focus on pay & free share giveaways at inapropriate times) in this instance I thought a set well contract existed & that ONGC had to follow that initial plan of wells.

However our BOD did not really make it clear at first opportunity that this pattern would have to be followed & instaed got caught up in the excitment of our massive find.

As usual if they had been straight at the beginning they may have mitegated some boom & bust , which the MM's have been playing on here.

Just thought, I suppose any buy backs have to be timed between offers recieved & disclosed, otherwise they would be acting on information not in public domain.

Why doesn't Amerisur just start dripping in the share buybacks.

I would say start buying up any shares within 1p of the last failed bid (you dont want to buy to much as day traders will just take profits & run - which wont help push the price).

Then pause.

Await next bid rinse & repeat all the way up to close to where they want to sell at ?

This would leave hostiles chasing the share price up, rather than controlling it.

So Fil pin the selling price to there lower offer, preventing a surge, whilst buying up anything they can get.

Therefore Amerisur needs to out buy there cheap shares, until they lose the game, as they are then just losing money ?

Is it therfore a good time for Amerisur to deploy its bank account & force the price up a little, to force these guys to pay more to aquire.

We had pretty much marked Ross's card but extra confirmation carn't hurt.

Besides he will ramp up his posting number & toxicity when the share gets to 25p & its best most have him on ignore by then.

Here you go, this is what a deramp does - he trys to make you sell your shares at 25p, but below is what you maybe playing for. (It may not reach these levels but who knows - certainly not Rossanan)

As per ColonelDrake:-

Rough Calcs

1. CPO-5 to ONGC for premption rights so goes for industry base of $10pb to $12pb per barrel and $1 or $2pb for p50 resources or portion of 2P. Estimated value circa $250m (conservative)
2. Plat based on 4000bopd and 15mmboe $175m
3. OBA - Strategic worth $75m to $100m
4. PUT blocks 50% - $100m to $150m now OXY involved.(replace with $217m per my post below)
5. Cash in bank of $60m approx (based on reduced capex for 2019)

Total $650m to $750m (i get $800m)
Equates to £520m to £600m(therefore £640m)
Based on roughly 1.3bln shares in issue (assumes all management options exercised)
Value 40p to 46p (im at 49p & comes with the bonus of telling my boss to go feck himself)

Dont forget 30% CPO-5 is held in a separate subsidiary company & is therefore already packaged nicely to be sold separate from the remaining Amerisur assets.

Regarding the Oxy valuation.

The 50% we currently retain has control rights (so should be worth more than the bit we sold+we didnt take the highest bidder back then (now we would)) therefore :-

Our 50% should read $93m + $19m = $112m+(5%Control est) + (5%highest bid est) = $124m

+The Credit for the bit we sold $93m + $19m = $112m less cash recieved $19m = $93m Oxy Credit.

Therefore the total is more likely $124m + $93m = $217m (less any 50% of any OXY spends incurred (no idea if they done much yet)).

That total includes nothing but the OXY involved land.
