Personally I believe a deal will get done - so I hold (& tbh the SP is still hanging on 17p so dont know what the fuss is about) - we all know it'll only move up on a new offer (or possibly a CPO-5 spud)

Over the last 2 months the SP has moved up to 19p & down to 16.7p so whats the problem ? 17p anchor still intact imo, these minor movements are just MM games.

With regards to an offer it takes time to do proper due diligence & then hold internal discussions & then capital raise planning - all before an offer is made. Add to that I dont believe any suitor believes there is any rush (since ONGC are slowing up the CPO-5 spud) therefore why not wait till someone else blinks first and starts the auction (its what I would do).

Well at last a little upward movement, no major selling on the rising price - maybe that last 3 x 100,00 shares buys has stretched something or maybe not.

Just hope they dont sell CPO-5 on its own.

Its the jewel in the crown, for growth potential.

If we sell it & bag our dividend only to carry on trading with the remaining assets, well I can only see downside slope for SP.

Please sell the whole lot, or sell the rest & keep CPO-5, at least then I would predict a rising SP going forward as CPO-5 develops.

I think we only move on offers now - no matter what goes on out there.

However I bet the destabilization in the Gulf could lead to a better offer or a new entrant whop maybe wants reduced risk low cost production.

Either way the oil flowing through the pipe will be sold for more & so at least the bank will be growing faster than that paultry 4million in the last 6mths.

Did what any sensible investor should do on those results.

Dumped like a stone this morning (they really are not great results) & bought them all back under 17p (cause its all smoke & mirrors - the assets speak far louder than OUR BOD ability to extract cash from them)

Reality is once this hits 24p (Ross's target price) the risk of a company sale not going through (currently the ONLY downside risk) falls away - as beyond 24p the directors are likely to accept deals.

SO WHY SELL AT 24p there is no risk of downside anymore & noone knows where the upside potential ends.

What we do know is the assets are the company strengths & are gonna be sought after.

So follow Ross into 24p cap teritory & bottle out of the big uplift all thanks to him/her/it.

ARB - crypto miner (highly volatile based on Bitcoin price atm - but decent low cost model/fairly new to the scene/imo needs a decent set of accounts behind it to really see the cash generation ability & to give it some hedge away from the bitcoin fluctuation (tho I doubt it'll ever be none volitile - so prolly best awaiting a low Bitcoin price before entering - could be a decent dividend generator in future)

I often post this in response to Ross, but in this case it has my detailed take on the OXY part of the deal:-

As per usual listen to negative Ross or realise this is what we are playing for.

Rough Calcs

1. CPO-5 to ONGC for premption rights so goes for industry base of $10pb to $12pb per barrel and $1 or $2pb for p50 resources or portion of 2P. Estimated value circa $250m (conservative)
2. Plat based on 4000bopd and 15mmboe $175m
3. OBA - Strategic worth $75m to $100m
4. PUT blocks 50% - $100m to $150m now OXY involved.(replace with $217m per my post below)
5. Cash in bank of $60m approx (based on reduced capex for 2019)

Total $650m to $750m (i get $800m)
Equates to £520m to £600m(therefore £640m)
Based on roughly 1.3bln shares in issue (assumes all management options exercised)
Value 40p to 46p (im at 49p & comes with the bonus of telling my boss to go feck himself)

Dont forget 30% CPO-5 is held in a separate subsidiary company & is therefore already packaged nicely to be sold separate from the remaining Amerisur assets.

Regarding the Oxy valuation.

The 50% we currently retain has control rights (so should be worth more than the bit we sold+we didnt take the highest bidder back then (now we would)) therefore :-

Our 50% should read $93m + $19m = $112m+(5%Control est) + (5%highest bid est) = $124m

+The Credit for the bit we sold $93m + $19m = $112m less cash recieved $19m = $93m Oxy Credit.

Therefore the total is more likely $124m + $93m = $217m (less any 50% of any OXY spends incurred (no idea if they done much yet)).

That total includes nothing but the OXY involved land.

Someone makes an educated guess of a price over 24p.

What are the chances ROSSY turns up like to discredit - ill start by saying 100%.

Well except $93m + $19m = $112m outlay was never outlayed, only $19m was ever moved in cash.

The $93m is just sitting on our new balance sheet as a big fat credit (which everyone seems to forget about) awaiting OXY works to offset against.

Ross any chance you can post nethin useful or fact driven (& ofc doesn't mention your laughable valuation formula of double opening SP which always = 24p no matter what hard facts are presented against it) like a broken record on repeat spouting garbage bbllaahha blahhh blahhh 24p 24p 24p, I'm sure ill be dreaming 24p before this process is done.

Even if the process could be shortened why on earth would we want to.

Indico -2 - Spud/Drill/Results - all good chance to uplift Valuation by a large margin.

Brexit - a 20% devaluation of the £ could be worth tonnes to all parties in this process (& allow a more generous offer) ie subject to Brexit a deal could be agreed, then await the outcome & adjust the sale price accordingly (I mean 20% is the difference between 35p & 42p - carn't be ignored all on the 31st October ( assuming we havent devalued before that date))

Why even converse with this deramp princess Rossanan.

Not a single positive post in his history on Amer potential (you wouldn't even think he has a vested interest in the share), always quick to quosh any positives with his negatives, never comments on the value of Amer assets & always bangs on about 24p/25p the best we can ever dream for without any support except doubling an artificial SP which was under short attack when the process started.

Take 15.38pm for example SP drops after
10620 shares sold @ 17.34p in 3 tranches
138871 shares bought @ 17.44p ish in 4 tranches
