Ive only been through one takeover share before & tbh the offer seemed to be made open to shareholders quite early in the proceedings (imo this was to raise the SP to defend vs hostile), dont get me wrong after the initial anouncement it too several months to finalise & included a raised offer further down the line.

Do the BOD have no need to do this here because their high shareholding mean hostile would be easily defeated.

In the above example the early offer publication had the benifit of a stabilised SP throughout negociations, which is clearly an advantage compared to our volatility.

That Letter of intent stage looks vital - & could block further bids ?

Most of us assumed we would get warning of when EUA came out of 6 months of suspension, in fact we got about 30 min one morning thats your lot - I wouldn't put to much faith in assumptions - RNS could just land & thats it (id assume out of trading hours - but again assumptions mean little)

I sold out last week tbh, was looking at the recent RNS, & thought id made a mistake - clearly I didn't.

Looks like death by dilution or well who knows whats caused this drop, but to me not very many confident shareholders willing to hold in this one.

Basically anyone named 'Rob' or alternative name based on 'Rob' = Robjprofit etc....has a long history of being a de-ramping t**d, usually for cheap entry purposes (but frankly who knows/cares).

In reality any negative poster who's history shows they only recently started posting on EUA (Rob meets this brief) can be classified as someone trying to gain entry on a cheaper SP - best ignore /green coffined.

Several reasons potentially.

1) not all sales are infact sales.
2) Background buyer hoovering them all up - would prolly see this after doors (if correct)
3) MM's not wishing to lower the price - why ?
- Option 1 - PI's may buy alot more than they wish to sell.
- Option 2 - PI's might stop selling (which they wish them to do (see background buyer above))
- Option 3 - MM's making good money on the movements atm - if they drop the price could seize the market up.

EUA asking price =54p + (30% Flank Licence) = 70.2p

First accepteble offer for the company must = this or the BOD wouldve called the whole thing off in all likelihood, getting the solicitors onboard to draft up stuff = we have reached this threshold imo.

Now the only issue remaining is the multibidders & deduct UBS/Solicitor fees.

You would think that the offer could be made public whilst the solicitors do there thing, but I suppose the first thing solicitors do is slow the process to extract there maximum reward (which is why most of us categorise them as unpopular as estate agents)

Perhaps your next hobby could be annoying a bank clerk buy drawing it out, & turning it into a bed (obvouisly taking an armoured car with you)

Do we need the Solicitors to do a full sign off to reveal an offer ?

Surely not they have plenty of time to iron out the deal between offer reveal & completion.

What happens if a trump offer comes along later. Solicitors start again/ bill again ?

Yep sometimes these rises take a full day to kick in, I noticed on GGP the initial RNS that started the last surge, was initally flatlining for a full day before blast off - I often think its the micky mouse MM games to trick the sell on news crowd to dump before taking them in late trades etc....

In fairness Manchester has always been my favourite large city.

Im used to low standards living in Stoke tho :) (Stoke's also decent really - home is home - if this pays off tho I may leg it lol)
