Evergrande debt accounts for 2% of chinas economy. That’s not including Country Garden. I would pay attention to the news in September as this is when a default is expected. One of the worlds largest Chinese aliminium producers are Rio to tow largest SH. When these Large companies start going bust the knock on effect will be enormous

Hi Pete - any predictions made are not factoring in that the largest property developer in China could be on brink of default and collapse. This is the reality. I would move anyone’s focus to this rather than what a mining company prediction is for there own output

Max I just balance the discussion. You pump all day every day and never ever shine the light on what is actually happening you generally post about increase in demand for silver or how China and India have massive iron demand. You don’t actually post any world events that are actually taking place that will effect this massively. You could have commented on BHP iron ore drop in sales for the last 4 months and the fact there iron ore from the pilabra region is just sitting in a dock in China waiting to be sold. We don’t seem to get these updates from you but some of the board here keep telling you thanks for keeping them informed.

‘People reported fake cities’ yes Max - Evergrande lost 99% of its value in 2021. Do you know why that lost that value? It’s because of those fake cities that make no money. And when Counrty Garden do the same but on a bigger scale the fallout will be enormous. China doesn’t have a never ending cash machine. Opening the stimulus tap’ you mean taking on more debt? The whole Chinese economy is flawed - peoples wealth sits in empty properties that are worthless. England have just decided they want to bring everyone out of poverty - let it be haha

Max you need to look closer at China and stop reading the press. Chinas fake cities and empty buildings are a false economy. Property in China is the main investment for Chinese. The people bought 2nd & 3rd homes as the prices kept rising even when no one was living there which created demand and hence they let building. This has now run its course and the chocolate you talk of may not build properly but funny enough neither does having 350$b debt like evergrande and 150b$ debt like Country Garden. These debts need to be serviced by actually receiving funds. Country Garden have already missed 2 interest payments and next mont will see its first default as they do not have funds. They used debt to build with no return. Chocolate won’t be enough for them to continue it will definatly need money. Where see how many worldwide companies are impacted when they do including those that are Indian. It will all have a knock on effect. This will have an impact for Alien at exactly the wrong time assuming there ever comes a time

They won’t be the next evergrande- they are larger. Evergrande have only just started trading again after losing 99% of there value. These construction firms will all collapse (these have 150b$ debt) the properties they are building are empty and then boom is over. When these collapse will have massive negative implications
