Because the methods used by the debtor' valuers in reaching their valuation of the post C11 business in Exhibit D are pretty straight forward and standard. The idea that a PI can question the competency of an investment bank that has used such token methods is a stretch.

Hexam wasn't claiming to be an expert, just that he's had to carry out valuations in the past. Assuming he's some kind of accountant like he appears to be then this is perfectly reasonable.

tegop - lately if you are not talking in riddles you're talking in madness. you've written you own narrative here and are sticking with it fair play. but it doesn't mean you can re-write the language used in rnss, court documents, etc, and you might have your own version of how you see events here but it doesn't mean they reflect reality.

i'll leave you with the following quote from cineworld's lawyer that was reported from one of the court sessions:

i would hope given patience's action he is taking he has at least acquainted himself with the different valuation methodologies, otherwise he'll get his **** handed to him in court given he's trying to prove the weakness in what has gone before against a corporate giant with some of the most expensive corporate lawyers in the land.

The breaches in the covenants were in relation to the delayed accounts and they have received waivers in relation to them. They have also reduced the RCF by 20% so I think it’s safe to assume the lenders are happy with the RCF at current levels.

Once they are up to date with the latest trading update which is due any time now you would think it would resume trading again with the slate wiped clean and new management in place.

They had £11m at the end of Feb 22 so it will be interesting to see how they are fairing at the end of Feb 23. We know they haven’t raised any case to date and the last twelve months have been tough.

How does this work from hereon in then patience? Are you actually in contact with the court?

The UK part will be a formality. They are not going to turnover a plan that has the absolute majority support of its primary lenders. Why would they put all those jobs and taxes at risk?

Mr Kioto - with the greatest of respect you must have had your head stuck in the sand - the monthly operating statements contained within the latest court dockets are discussed here on a regular basis.

If you search them on the site and stick them in an excel sheet you can track management accounts, although rough in places, going right back to Sept 22 at the outset.

The 45 days thing - Avatar still hadn't hit the domestic streaming yet. I would have thought Disney would have had that straight on Disney plus like they did with Lightyear - no they let it run.

Well the market was pricing in poor results, high debt, etc which didn’t transpire.

I out boohoo back in my watchlist a month or so ago and for me those results were the catalyst for the turnaround and hopefully the bottom.

I don’t fancy Asos at all. As soon as Mike Ashley bought in o think that was the death knell.

What's your point Tegop? Are you saying that a short theatrical window is now a good thing? Half term this week and rather than going to the cinema folk can just watch it from the comfort of their own home for £20. This blew up over the Easter holiday last time ....

I've already watched it this morning with my son.

It's a very poorly written article that fails to mention the new management that have been brought in to sort the mess out, the decent underlying performance of the company (given economic conditions) after all the adjustments have been made and also the amount of one off costs (not just freight which I would argue isn't exceptional anyway) such as stock write downs, IPO costs, impairment due to the revalued acquisition, etc, which pretty much contributed to most of the loss.

Plus the simple fact that it's a growth story with a potential long way to go. I wouldn't buy the shares due to the indirect holding via Boohoo, but if I wasn't here I would think this is the perfect time to buy once they are trading again and have a decent risk/reward ratio.

This is the biggest takeaway form we here. Whether you like the Kamani's or not they've done a decent job in navigating the company through the last difficult 18 months.

They’ve written a lot of it off. A lot was slow moving.

I would have thought at these levels this is a time to buy rather than sell.

Especially for a medium to long term holder.

I had a good look through the annual report last night and it looks like they've had a torrid time sorting out the mess left by the previous board. All kind of stuff going on no wonder there have been such significant delays.

It looks like they have kitchen sinked all the bad new so onwards and upwards from hereon on in. Looks a good fit for Boohoo and I expect the investment was at a perfect moment to take full advantage.

I think this has gone some way to run on the broader tech rally.

I've got a big position in apple as well so quite happy with how my US shares are doing.

Recently traded Meta as well but wish I had hold on now as it keeps going up as well.
