'It doesn't matter how many brands Boohoo have. There's loads more competition for online fashion worldwide. People are returning to shops to buy their fashion too. '
There are less shops to chose from and when you go in them they carry poor stock and the likes of Next turn you online anyway where they carry a wider breadth of stock then in store. Lots of Next stores no longer stock baby and toddler clothes as an example. Try buying a suite with a 36-38 trousers and 42-44 jacket.
'Between 2015 and 2020 Boohoo broke down the revenue, etc., for Boohoo, Prettylittlething and Nasty Gal.
They don't do this any longer because then you'd see how the other brands aren't doing so well.'
That's because it was a smaller business then. It has bought many more brands since then. We're only 18 months in - I would expect them all to be making a profit. The company I work for gives a newly acquired business 3.5 years to breakeven. That's with an already successful business model which just needs rolling out in a new territory or a new business area.
'Shorting is part of investing for huge funds.
They'll have shorts on shares, commodities, currencies, interest rates, etc., etc on worldwide markets
They don't have time to do artificial suppression.'
Thanks for the GCSE level education PeePee. What are you going to teach us next? How credit cards work, mortgage interest perhaps?
