The thing to remember about the investment in RevB is that BH are not looking for a quick trade or profit. It's a strategic acquisition based on their product offering and how it fits into Boohoo's ambitions.

The only thing you need to factor in Oke and they went into some detail on the analysts call is that distribution costs in the medium term are going to be significantly higher, especially once the USA NDC opens up as they will only be stocking new lines which will filter in slowly with the rest of the market being serviced via air from Sheffield. They will be la significant amount of exceptional costs reacting to various duplications that will occur.

Hi T4G - I think from a moral and ethical standpoint it couldn't have been appropriate for them to vote.

All the trouble they have caused and they then try and have a say in running the company again after being kicked out. I dont think that would go down if there actions lead to more serious action at a later date.

I hope if this mess has taught anyone anything it's to spot the signs. Take the time to read and understand the annual report and alternative point of view and trigger those red flags that hopefully will tell you next time that something isn't quite right and it's time to cash in your chips.

Crown Holdings is one of the holdings companies under CW Plc which all the other companies sit under.

This holding company and everything underneath will simple be lifted from CW Plc into Newco leaving CW Plc an empty shell which will be wound down in an administration.

I can't see on what rationale basis the judge the judge would stop this going through at this point.

So the review was commissioned by the directors and not AIM as I said.

The RevB board looking very desperate here now threatening to delay the accounts if Boohoo manage to takeover the board. A blatant attempt to try and blackmail their own shareholders, and I feel this is specially FUD aimed at PIs, if they don't back them.

A completely unreasonable attempt in my book as most of the work towards the finalisation of the accounts should be well underway. They given the trading update so they have the data.

Unacceptable way for a board to act imo.

I'm not saying you are wrong - simply that you are using the wrong measure and not making a reasonable comparison.

PeePee - the point is you were suggesting that RevB has its pricing all wrong - therefore GP would be the best measure to assess this. Net profit contains all the overheads. So like I said before, unless the companies have identical cost bases you are not making a true comparison.

It's worth pointing out at this point that Boohoo are only trying to takeover the board not the company itself. So RevB holders at this point can still enjoy their investment in the company. I assume that if Boohoo did ever mount a takeover challenge it will hopefully at a decent more palatable price for the shareholders.

PeePee - I haven't jumped to any conclusions. I have just questioned your rationale and (usual) lack of intelligence in your statement.

You need to look at Gross Profit which is Sales less Cost of Sales because you were claiming that there was a problem which the pricing at RevB. The gross margin will help demonstrate your point, Operating profit has other costs deducted so you cannot be sure you are comparing apples with apples.

Where as you have the imagination of Walter Mitty
