My opinion only but borrowing anything kind of money fixed against Bitcoin on a personal level is absolute lunacy. Plus I’m surprised if there are any institutions other than in the crypto space that would let you even contemplate it.

Ocado has been coming down recently as well.

I think there’s probably an element of rotation going on out of the stocks that did well in COVID. Hasn’t applied to US though where big tech is flying again.

I’m assuming we’re not going to want the bricks and mortar. Sounds like betfred are sniffing round them.

Hi Eddie - that’s strange the one thing I would have given them credit for is how slick and useable the mobile app is.

I bought ETH around midday with no bother so must have missed the real volatile action.

I have a read of the board now and again but it’s mainly unreadable dross these days. Other then Steve and Bob I can’t work out whether any of the remaining players are actually genuine. Took posting on other boards and seeing what actual investor discussion is to realise I should have never bothered posting there in the first place.

I’ve not read anymore into it but it looks like they are buying the non-US business from Caesar’s.

Yeah the fees are a joke, didn't really research them properly but thought them more reputable because of all the coverage they get.

They are sly though trying to encourage people to save £10 at a time while they take £1 fee, or as I call it 10%!

I've been playing around with it for about a week and am not entirely sure what's going on!

After swapping in and out of various coins tying to make a bit of cash I've opted to just hold BTC and ETH and top up on dips.

Added to ETH today when it was down about 12% but didn't expect it to just keep going down.

I went in with a very small holding when it started rising again but am back under water again now. I was going to double up number of shares if it gets to 0.25p.

It seems to fall back then move up quite quickly I've noticed so I've got my eye on it. Only danger is getting caught out as I see they seem to have swapped a CLN with a quasi-CLN.

Looks like we’ve won an auction to acquire the non-us interests of William Hill for $2b.

The market reaction is a lot better than I was expecting.

Kind of ‘as you were’.

I’m contemplating taking some profit here as I would say it’s uncertain what the next catalyst is.

Really need the occasion wear back up and running at full pelt.

Well PW cleared this up pretty succinctly in the Q&A. In order to pay the bills we either:

1) sell BTC
2) create debt
3) shareholder dilution

Seems to me that option 1) is a no brainier give then other two levers left to pull.

This is the risk in buying in and around the IPO before a share has found its natural level.

1) assuming decent continued growth and profitability forward PE should be a lot less than 38. It doesn’t take much to bring that number right down providing the recent acquisitions are making a strong contribution to profitability.

2) yes spending in real estate but that’s because we are sitting in a massive cash stack and are talking growth opportunities at a great price as and when they arise.

By incentivising with a share plan the people who affect the change have their goals completely aligned with ours. Plus as the market cap grows the affect of such a plan dilutes down till it doesn’t even become a consideration.

Hexam - excellent first post and I was about to post something similar myself. PW can have the best plan in the world but without a motivated well rewarded team underneath him it becomes a lot more difficult to execute. I assume we’re talking skilled knowledge workers and not manual pieces-meal workers at Tesco. Proper small mindedness and a lack of understanding how big business operates.

Stock options are par for the course in the USA and we’ll learn this lesson the hard way I feel.
