PeePee - very telling here how much you preach about Shein yet you dont seem to understand how their operating model even works'
Boohoo have never had complete domination of the market, no company has, it's a competitive industry and always has been.
Also, young people quite often have more disposal income than adults because they are less likely to be tied to rent, mortgages, bills etc. They really ever buy their clothes from one place.
Also, while Shein might be cheaper it's known for poor quality and even poorer lead times, so in this respect those with Uk distribution have a USP over them.
Young girls often are still buying outfits a day or two before the occasions they are buying them for. When this happens they Shein cannot compete for these sales. Shein purchases have to be planned weeks in advance.
