The problem with most of the memo stocks is they are not very good businesses which is why they were being shorted to an inch of their lives. You can't polish a turd and fundamentals always win out. I've been buying the US growth stocks that are being battered at the moment but bit by bit - companies like Apple (I'm a long term holder) and Nvidia which are strong businesses and then then companies like Crowdstrike and Splunk which are in strong positions in potentially high growth areas.
Have a look at how well Scottish Mortgage Trust did during 20/21. They were in all the big growths names before that particular boom - Tesla, Apple, Moderna, Zoom, etc.
Tesla has split twice since I've owned them. The first was in the summer of 2020.
