Well I've already lost more than the dividend payment per share since I brought them. So that's without the big drop that will happen tomorrow! Happy days are here again!

I can't wait to spend my dividend windfall. I might treat myself to tub of ice cream with the money I've made!. 7.6p per share, I've lost more than that by buying at the wrong time as usual!

I'm glad I didn't look at these shares yesterday. When I saw a 3 pc drop today I got depressed then realised that it must have risen by a similar amount yesterday as it's back where it was when I looked on Monday!

That's true Redceo. I've got a habit of thinking it's the end of the world that I didn't buy a share at the lowest possible price and then when I see I'm losing on them I panic and go into a depression. However in all fairness I've never lost on a share if I just wait they usually recoverecover. I brought royal mail at the time as I thought they were a safer bet and that 4.70 was cheap from they high in the 6's. Oops.

Thanks sunset777 that's funny!. I am able to hold onto the shares for a while luckily. I won't be selling the shares at a loss I'm going to hold onto them for as long as it takes for them to recover. I think the shares I've got at the moment are all lower than when I brought them but it's hard to know where the bottom is when buying them but as long as the company is sound they will recover and just got to ride the lows.

I think I'm going to hang onto my shares in the hopes that they recover.

I am the kiss of death to share prices. I seem to buy just before they drop. I did the same with these shares. People should do the opposite to what I do and they will make a killing!

I unfortunately Brought royal mail shares a bit before they peaked the they had the huge 25 pc drop so I'm holding hoping that sometime next year they will come back up. I then brought some more at 364.50 and I'm losing on them too!. No luck at all. Oh well :-(

Shaunymac I think a lot of people have been shocked by such a drop. Hopefully the share price will recover as I'm assuming there's no more bad news at least for the rest of the month. I wonder does anyone know exactly what royal mail have in assets because I can't understand why some brokers have a 2.50p target if they have that much in assets and cash alone?

There's a huge amount buys into the hundreds of thousands and several millions as the share closed or after does that mean anything?. Sorry I'm still learning about shares.

They are going up and down so quickly it's hard to gauge when is best to buy and sell them.

This share price has been so disappointing sInce I bought it. I'm 4 percent down. The dividend will help me make back this but the sp will drop the same as the dividend so I will still be 4 percent down :-(

Is it worth buying any at this price?. I'm a bit hesitant as the price is very volitile at the moment. Not sure where the bottom is.
