What you say is very true & yesterday in West Sussex we heard a very different tone from councilors despite some concerns.

Hopefully the government will not hang around in providing support through the planning rules as they themselves were the vendors of the PEDL licences through the OGA & this country needs indigenous oil, investment & jobs.

RE: Greenpeace £80,000 fine + costs over trespass on oil rig. This ruling should set a precedent against XR for the actions of its protestors.

I hope UKOG & there legal advisors are aware of this for its case against the XR trespassers.

No interest in any positive news for UKOG from FOTH.

If new projects are considered I think they should be picked as cash generating that will rise in value as the price of oil rises. This is something UKOG currently lacks.

This has the potential to add cash flow & real value.

Thanks for that but apart from the spelling I hope that the Guardian post was interesting. If the injunction has no teeth it is not worth the paper it is written on & the courts only do themselves the country & justice a disservice.

Hopefully we will now see lots more fines & a bit more respect for the law as we can see again today from Horse Hill 12 police needed to escort a oil tanker off site due to the protestors who I believe should pay the costs!

2 million fund raise to help achieve stable long-term oil production at Horse Hill



UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that it has raised £2 million ("Proceeds") from a single institutional investor through a placing ("Placing") of 235,294,117 new ordinary shares ("Placing Shares") in the capital of the Company. The Placing's issue price of 0.85 pence per share ("Placing Price"), represents approximately a 15% discount to the closing price of the Company's ordinary shares on the business day prior to this announcement.



Use of Proceeds



Whilst the Company has ample cash to fully fund its remaining 85.635% interest share of Horse Hill-2z ("HH-2z") drilling-related costs plus forward HH-1 and HH-2z production test operations, the net Placing proceeds will be used partly to accelerate long-lead time gas-utilisation, facilities and other related works necessary to bring HH-1 and HH-2z into stable long-term oil production.

Was the flare not only permitted during the EWT?

If so now we are in production with HH1 & all the new groundwork systems in place we may not see the flare unless testing is taking place on HH2.

It is interesting to see below that you have never been to the IOW & live in Fance but are involved in the local debate on the IOW & get the local IOW papers?

I'm sure people will continue to support the IOW application on its merits & discard your lies.

Wizard - for every supporter on the IoW planning website there are now 20 objections. Your 'support' campaign is provoking the opposite reaction to your intentions.

There is an interesting debate in Isle of Wight local papers, including contributions from experienced petroleum geologists, questioning why on earth UKOG is drilling this well because there may be shows, but no reservoirs capable of production. Frackfree IoW has an interesting video which concludes SS is only promoting the project to collect another bonus. If the planning application is thrown out that's half of UKOG's prospective resources down the drain. PI's should stop SS wasting more of their money on drilling no-hope wells.

I've never been to IoW and live in France where I manage my investment company.

I do my own research on all my investments an own UKOG as an 'entertainment' investment.

I certainly is a circus featuring all sorts of clowns.

But; unlike France where there is moratorium on all onshore drilling, HH has a chance with the appliance of science whereas IoW project is a 'dog' in professional investor vernacular and in a different basin. There are 10 dry holes in IoW - UKOG will likely add another unless the fiasco is stopped.

Commercially, UKOG could benefit by relinquishing the IoW PEDL, save the money and concentrate on decoding the geological mysteries of the Kimmeridge limestone play which has many similarities to the Paris Basin.

Exploration

Looking at how these things work it will take some time to achieve the planning which may take a year to committee & another year if it has to go to appeal so I think UKOG will be keeping there options open between sites & possibly it's 4 licences.

France is a different kettle of fish altogether for oil & gas but I think conventional methods will continue through the transition period here to 2050 & beyond as oil & gas products & services will still be needed imo.

You certainly seem concerned enough about my post about the support for the IOW planning.

From my perspective it has taken SS longer to get this planning application into the council so I think it will be well planned & as I understand it was very well recieved at the public consultations where the Islanders were very receptive & progressive towards the development & the benefits that it will bring to the island. Besides it would not be setting a president by drilling on the IOW the advantage now is modern technology & the knowledge of the 120 million barrels oil in place in the Portland alone.

Frack free IOW are a extreme organisation who seem to be operating outside of it remit frightening Islanders with scaremongering about fracking which could not be further from the truth.
