This is a link discussing the IOW biosphere status.

It talks about the IOW & the area if outstanding beauty.

This application falls outside this area & is in a industrial area of the island. Industry is needed as well as beauty & tourism in all areas of the UK to ensure a balance & that certain areas do not need to be over industrialised more than others.

It is quite clear from the article that more than 1/2 of the island is covered by the area of ANB for the island to remain sustainable it needs to play it's part by in the islands & UK economy.

While it is no justification believe it or not there are many companies & shareholders in a worse positions & when I look forward I still see plenty of potential for UKOG as we move forward.

Just as one example Hurricane energy who had a market cap of over £1.2 billion is now just £118 million but has about £200 million in debts.

You may be right but time will tell.

If we all believed the same things would it not be a boaring life.

My hope now that UKOG have almost 86% of the Horsehill licences compared to 20% in 2017 is that it will when the CPR is released we will have a value of about 3p but this will probably be affected greatly by the NPV oil price at the time of the CPR release before we move on to other licences.

The key question is your shareholding persentage able to do what you aspire to or not?

Otherwise that is living in denial in my opinion as it would be votes that count to achieve your aims.

Thanks for your reply my thoughts we that the radial drilling would provide a solution to that but I have just read a article that the current new radial drilling tecnology developed in 2018 is only suitable for vertical wells but they hope to be able to develop this further. For me one of the biggest problems was the lack of time permitted at BB & the other work programs sheduled at HH.

If the reports of the blockages preventing the oil flows are correct as indicated which didn't happenn the KL5 layer the new radial drilling tecnology should be a very cost effective solution & if a new sidetrack was also drilled it could prove a double success.

The sidetrack is the best option but it will also be interesting to see if they experiment with radial drilling.

I understand that the technology has come a long way even since we were last at BB.

A lot of money was spent at BB so let's hope it will prove & repay the investment even if it takes longer than expected.

In order to confirm the decision to further sidetrack and test BB-1, UKOG will use the extension period to evaluate future Kimmeridge well and test results, which are planned by both the Company and other operators before March 2022.

The interesting part may be the part about other operators which may mean a farm or with costs covered or a partner?

Loxley planning will be successfully following the SCC investigation or a appeal & UKOG will bounce back. You have no understanding of the value within UKOG but SS does!

The reality is there are very few oil companies that are not currently down in the dumps & not just oil companies for that matter but this is cyclical & for every big down there will be a very big up before the market balances out.

Whatever many think at least there is a experienced & stable board of directors at UKOG who will see us through the current difficulties.

I sit here reading your post as what I believe to be a realist with a positive perspective on UKOG having followed the story over the last few years & seen a number of ups & downs & the reason for them.

While I can't see how long you have followed the story I can see that you have been a member of LSE since May20 & only 3 posts on this UKOG board.

I don't personally believe that you have any knowledge on how UKOG should be valued.

Can you please explain on what basis that you value UKOG & on what basis you don't believe UKOG value will rebound quite significantly as I do & as do many others who I believe have sound reasons for there optimism.

I am sure that there is a lot of local discussion & the majority will only consider themselves & there local interests.

The important thing to remember, although it is not really what we want or want to hear is that should it not be passed it will be appealed to the UK government through the planning inspectorate who have a national & not just a local policy as it is of national importance & benefit for the whole of the UK.

The planning officers will also have to bear in mind that should the application go to the planning inspectorate they will lose any right to any planning conditions that they may wish to attach to the application which may well benefit UKOG.

Personally I am not counting on it going through without an appeal so will not be disappointed in the early stages but we all know that the UK will now need the indigenous oil, Jobs & oil & the revenues that it will provide in the transition period to
0 carbon 2050 & beyond.

The good thing about the BB retention is that should Loxley need to go to appeal it could provide a way forward in the meantime as a appeal could take a year to be heard.

The comments from the planning officer saying that BB was not dependant on the Lockley findings may allow for a earlier application depending on what happens at HH & funding.
